Now that is a FUNKY CHICKEN (*cough*turkey*cough*)    I didn't know you had turkeys?  His feathers look amazing!

Oh Dear me, we once had a wild turkey adopt our property...and pooped all over everything & refused to leave...our son named him "dinner" and he was delicious...

Charlotte.....the horror!!   Not in front of Jive, please!   :crackup: My dad has been teasing me about where his turkey dinner is....meaning Jive......but just to pick on me.  He wouldn't dare try to have my Jive for Thanksgiving!

Jive is our lone pet turkey.  He's actually a Bourbon Red, which is considered a Heritage breed and becoming quite rare.  Not an airhead like his white turkey cousins, Jive is actually quite smart and also very easy natured.  He's such a character......talks to me (or gobbles  :lol:) and keep us all entertained with his antics.  I'm so glad I brought him home from that flea market last summer!
