Well, the big day is finally here and the Softie Parade I've been coordinating since August is up and running. We will have three different segments of the parade to showcase all the Entries and then we'll wrap it up with voting starting on Sunday, November 25th. Voting will end Friday November 30th with the Top 5 winners announced on Saturday December 1st. So stop by and enjoy the Parade - there are some fabulous Softies entered from Monsters to Celebrities!

Day 2 of the Parade has just been posted for your enjoyment. Yesterday, over 500 visitors viewed the Entries winding down Main Street. A whole group of different Parade Entries are heading up 5th Avenue as I write this note. Enjoy!
Wow that parade is great!!!
Lisa I just LOVE all the hard work you've put into this, thank you!!! I emailed my entire collector mailing list so they could "tune" in It's just so much fun to see!

Aww. Thanks guys. And thanks so much to everyone who sent in photos of their work! It's been a blast putting this all together. In fact, I had so much fun that I didn't even have time to finish my own piece for the parade!!! Tomorrow is Santas and there are some really great ones so stay tuned.
Now I'm looking forward to my Easter Parade but I'm going to start a Flickr group for that one to make it easier for people to just "plop" their photos in there. I think more people would participate if I made it easier for them. And if they Thanksgiving Parade gets really big next year, I'll have to have different Categories, Sponsors, Really Good Prizes, etc. Whew! I better not even start to think about it...
I just loved the thanksgiving Parade Lisa and can't wait to look back and see some more fun creations.
Thank you for organizing this event.
Hugs
Carolyn
I just put up Day 3 of the Parade which is "Right Down Santa Claus Lane." Come see all the fabulous Santas!
