Does anyone know of a source for Tibetan Lamb?  I have a project I would like to do, and I think the Tibetan Lamb would be a wonderful addition.  I do have a couple of places I am checking out, but thought I would check in with you all first.

Oh Manuela - WHY did you post that link - I'll be sitting here racking my brains to see if I can justify buying a pelt - they look SO gorgeous!!!!!!!  And I know how expensive even tiny bits of Mongolian lamb are here, so his prices are good.

Ok Maria if you make a bear out of Tibetan Lamb I want first crack at buying it  bear_grin  bear_grin ,  cause I know it would be amazing.  People thing the fur is difficult to work with but I actually enjoy it, sewing it is not difficult at all but stuffing is where the fun begins  ughhhh it's terrible to stuff.

Buy Buy Buy and enjoy  heeehee

Thanks for all of the info.   That seller on ebay is actually one that I have been watching.  So here I go.  I imagine that a bear made with tibetan lamb would need to be a bigger bear.  Is this correct?

Oh Millie - it's going to be a case of seeing what the fur suggests, I guess - never used anything like it before!
BUT - did you see the jackets and coats on the site????????? I am in LOVE with a full length black lamb coat - me WANT!!!!!!

Trust me Maria you will love working with this stuff.  I hand sew all of the heads on our bears, with the real fur I use leather needles and it makes it so easy.  Guarantee that you will love the results and will make more heehee.  Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

big hugs
