.....because it is a real tiger cub!!!!
We just got back form The National Holstein Conference at The Kalahari in the Wisconsin Dells.
I'd like you to meet Gita, a seven week old Bengal tiger cub. I was in heaven to say the least.
We had so many pictures taken but I'll just post a few.
The white cub is a 13 week old White Bengal Tiger named Clyde. He was very strong and frisky. Much more so than they appear in the photos.
These big kitties have very large paws and are quite vocal. It's the cutest sound...like a baby growl. We weren't allowed to actually hold them as they can bite...but I don't think I would have cared. Clyde went for my hair at point and it took to effort form his handler to get him to sit still just long enough for the photographer to snap a photo.
Check my blog in a few days and I will have a lot of photos posted from our vacation at The Kalahari Resort....I have lots of fun photos.

Great pictures Judi, thanx so much for showing us, that had to be a great feeling to be that close to those sweethearts. And think of all the details you now have to add to your wonderful tigers. Great pictures, your lookin good, and the kids are great!
How adorable those little babies are! You and your kids look adorable, too, Judi! What a wonderful opportunity and experience - would love to have been with you.
Now how many people can say they've had a tiger cub swinging from their hair!! I'm another that's green with envy.
What wonderful pics, and what a privelege!!!
Beautiful tiger babies. Judi, when you told us you were going to be having pictures taken with a tiger cub, I wondered if you were going to take one of your amazing tiger cubs to pose with the babies. I wonder how those babies would have reacted to one of yours.
Oh lucky you, those babies are so adorable.......yours are too!! And Judi, you look beautiful as always!!!! Hugz Sis!
They are gorgeous Judi.It must have been lovely to get so close to such a beautiful animal

Glad you like the "big" kitties. They were amazing. I am still on a tiger 'high' right now. It was amazing to be this close and to feel, yes feel, the power in these animals. They are very strong even at such a young age.
I'll be posting a lot more pictures from the Kalahari...we took over 400 photos and had 24 professional pictures taken too....I won;t be posting them all on my blog but quite a few....even a photo with a baby kangaroo with a neat little story.

Judi,
They are soooooo cute! I love the white one. We have a small zoo in the region and when we were there last spring, they had some tiger cubs in an enclosement, so we could see them close up and if you put your fingers through the cage, they were like puppies, chewing them, only they REALLY hurt LOL! I was in awe to get that close, they were so adorable, so you must have been over the moon to hold them! Lucky girl!
hugs,
Brenda
I'm still over the moon on a tiger high. I can't wait to go back...and it's only a three hour drive.
The Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells would be a fantastic place for the TOBY , GT, and all the Doll awards to take place. This place is not only in the top ten for water parks in the USA but there is a convention center attached and so much to do...like pottery painting.....we could all get our hair braided...great restaurants, indoor/outdoor water parks and tiger cubs ( or lions depending what is available and young enough at the time) along with other animals....and much much more......it's beautiful.
Was your youngest getting launched by Da in that pic Judi? Looks like loads of fun!!!
Yep Debbie, that's daddy launching Joey into the air. He plays and plays and plays with the kids. He's fun dad. :dance
Here's another one.
WOW!!!!!!! Judi what an awesome holiday. Those tiger cubs are amazing, so beautiful. I bet you are really full with wonderful new ideas for yet more of your wonderful tigers now Judi. The kids and you and Pul of course look like they are really enjoying their holiday. I'm going to check out your blog soon.
Hugs, Jane.
Hi Everyone. I just updated my blog with lots of new photos from our mini trip to The Kalahari if you want to check them out.
What beautiful photos and what a great chance to get up close to such gorgeous tiger cubs.
So glad you had an enjoyable holiday with your family.

Wow Judi you must have been in heaven with those tigers...... lucky you !!!
Yes, I have t say it was very heavenly being these these tiger cubs. What is pretty funny is that when I showed some of these photos to my family members in other states a few commented,,, "Neat!. They look so real." That's because they ARE real!
Oh I am so inspired right now. I am just itching to do more tigers...new designs.
  Gotta love messing with relatives
What a cool dad!! I think its so neat that he plays so much with the kids. That kind of interaction is priceless growing up
I've gotta to admit, when I saw the first picture of Judi standing behind that counter holding a tiger cub, the first thing I thought was 'dang, she's gone and got herself on 'Good Morning America' - how the heck did she do that??? and then I read on. . . and the really scary part is that the real tiger doesn't look as real as Judi's own tigers. sheesh
the other thing I noticed was what a happy family! speaking as a guy, your hubby must be proud as punch to be sporting a such a handsome, happy brood. give him a big hurrah from us
Gorgeous pictures Judi, what a lovely time you had and can't wait to see the new designs
