Past Time BearsHi, Jenn . . . if you Google "reborn dolls", you'll get a ton of places to look for information. Simply put, a reborn doll is a doll that has been enhanced to look like a real newborn baby.

Posts: 8,574Its becoming an art form Jens, but it seems you have to be inlove with the real new born baby look---We have a couple members who do it and you may find sme of their work in one of the galleries.
Basically they take a baby doll, scrub everything off, paint it inside and outside, redo the eyes, reroot the hair and there you have it!
Now your little Jonathon Michael is simply precious, I'd rather have him than a reborn....

I was able to see some Reborn babies in person at Idex last summer and some are unbelievable. They look absolutely real.
There were even some monkeys and a Reborn orangutan that is supposed to be available in a kit form sometime. The oraguntan was precious.
