Oh bless, isn't it amazing how this poor little dog has to manage. I just wish someone would help out this wonderful dog like the dog called Hope in Tami's message. Here's the link.

I've seen this dog, or one in similar condition, on Oprah a couple of years ago. The family had saved this little pup born without front legs and she just learned to to compensate for her lack of limbs. Amazing, isn't it. She didn't seem to understand that she wasn't supposed to walk upright on her back legs.
I read in "Bark" magazine that 'they' are working on a way to create permanant prosthetic legs for animals here in the US. It was very interesting. And I've seen stories about dogs missing multiple limbs on TV. The body has an amazing way of surviving and compensating for abnormalities/losses/etc.
I do know , and I think in USA it is a site called K9, where dogs who have back problems can get a harness fitted to help them walk.

I've seen this amazing little poochie too--the family found it abandoned in a garbage dump!
My daughter has a 3-legged cat. The only thing he can't do without his right hind leg is scratch his right side.
