Oh I love the picture Alison! aren't they beautiful! Thanks for sharing  I hope Ellen pops on to see this
Oh they are soo cute, what fun it must have been to watch them. I grew up in the country, and twice when I was young, I had a racoon as a pet. I can tell you as they grow up they are not good pets, but they are so much fun as babies.

Cute guys Alison. I bet they were fun to watch. Did you get cooled off in the mountains? Too bad you had to go back to the valley and the heat. Of course, you could live up by us as we are always hotter than the valley The other day when the official temp here was 117 we were actually at 120 at our house. Isn't summer in the desert fun
What cuties!!!
Eva,
Thank goodness we haven't hit 117 yet. My air conditioning is broke! We're running an evaporative cooler. It's not working too well but we're muddling through. We still can't decide if we're going to buy a new unit or have this one fixed. It was much cooler at Haigler Creek where we camp but still very warm in the sun. It was horrible to come home to 110 degrees. I wish I could live on the creek in the summer. Here's another picture I took. It's not as cute as the racoons, but still an adorable fuzzy critter.
Hugs,
Alison
Thanks for the super pics, Alison! Boy, I don't know how you do it, with that kind of heat. Anything over 75 with humidity, literally makes me nauseous. I would rather live in Alaska than live with your kind of heat. I don't know if it's possible to be allergic to heat, but I get hives in the heat all the time, and hubby has asthma and has trouble breathing when its warm. We keep our A/C on all the time, once it starts to get warm and it sits at 20 degrees all summer (about 70) and I go outside as little as possible. If I could eliminate a season, summer would be my choice lol!
hugs,
Brenda
Great pictures Alison, thanks for sharing them with us.
Hugs, Jane.
Thank you for the pictures, Alison, they're really good and, of course, the racoons are soooo sweet.....and the fuzzy creature!

Alison, the first 5 years we lived in the Phoenix area all we had was a swamp cooler. I wonder now how we ever made it but we did. Hope you can get your a/c fixed. We keep our a/c on 83 or 84 degrees and that is low enough for us. The electric company loves all of us in the summer.
Adorable little bandits - sooooo cute! And Fuzzy Ann is beautiful, too. As a little girl, I had a fuzzy caterpillar as a playmate one day (named it Fuzzy Ann) and when I went out to play the next day, she was GONE! I can't tell you how upset I was to lose my friend. Stay cool, Alison.
aww I love racoons... they looks so cute with their black "glasses"
Beautiful pictures!
Your camping break sounds idealic   love the pics.
