I buy bear eyes from Van Dykes taxidermy supply.  I guess that is why they just sent me their 2010 catalog.  Wow! Wow!  Pages and pages of animal forms, nine pages of bear forms.  I am interested in bear movement and body shape. The forms show the shape and the muscles under the fur  This will go into my collection of bear books.

I don't know if they charge, mine was free, but if you are interested in natural movement and shape this is a good resource.

Thanks so much for posting the link, Joanne......
the bear forms are amazing (bit gruesome tho!)  - they'll be very useful as a reference to actual bear shapes and structures.

Yes I guess if you think why they are used they are gruesome.  But if you don't think about that, well they are just like big plastic bald animals.

Hi Joanne,

Thank you for sharing!  I'm saving the site for reference - it'll make getting the right proportions easier!   bear_flower
