SANY0278.JPGSANY0271.JPGSANY0274.JPGMy name is Kandi and I am a 26 year old from Fort Smith Arkansas that has inherited around 3000 teddy bears. Yes...3000! I don't know if there is anyone on earth that enjoyed teddy bears as much as my nannie. She started collecting bears in her 20s and now I have all of them. There are some I would like to keep of course that remind me of her but I don't have the room for most. I don't know a lot about bears, or anything about them really but I do know she has bears ranging from basic to Boyd to Steiff. Bears that are new and some that are really old. I don't really have the time to sort through all the bears and sell individual items. I will post pictures, if you see anything that sparks your attention or if you have any advice on where to sell such a large bulk, please contact me @ kdavis062883@hotmail.com.

Thanks so much!

Yes she loved her bears. She was a child at heart. I would keep them all just to remember her by but I can't. I hope to sell some here or at least get good feedback as to where to sell. Thanks for responding.

God Bless

There is Ebay, Bear Pile, Esty. Are you on face book? Posting there should get the word out. So others may know of where to post them. I just can't image that many bears. Where did she have them all? I have a small collect of artist bears. Love to see some pictures of your collect.

Gosh what a collection maybe you could find a specialist Bear shop near you and ask if they are interested in looking at them. Your nannie may have some rare or old ones that are worth selling individually, for instance I have a Merrythought Cheeky bear which is worth 300 pounds. Good luck with them.

Hi
If you want to "thin down" your collection, perhaps some of the lesser valued ones could be donated to your local Police/Fire Toy and Joy program or a local hospital?   A teddy goes a long way in comforting a child in one of those situations. And if there are doll and teddy bear or craft shows in your area, sounds like you would have enough to participate several times  You're right....the fees to list that many bears one at a time would be pretty high, but in a collection that large, I'm sure you have some that are valuable.
Do you have any closer pictures?  Maybe there are some TTrs who would recognize some of the ones you have

Best Regards
Lee Ann
