Last night, my niece's dog Daisy had eight puppies in a nice cozy nest made of bedding in a child's swimming pool.
After the births, my niece saw that everything was wet and getting cold. She carefully lifted all the puppies out and placed them in a laundry basket with a clean towel. Then she helped Daisy out and went to get clean bedding to put inside the pool-nest.
And what did she find when she came back? 
(I'll insert a picture of one of the very cute pups, too, since you can't see them very well in the laundry basket.)

No, but she did NOT expect to find 75-pound Daisy in the laundry basket. (I don't think that would have surprised me at all, but my niece is young and still learning about the ways of animals
