This week I swapped bears with Tracy Lee of Thimble Beary Originals. I wanted to share with you how this swap came about.
Since the first time I ever laid eyes on one of Tracy's bears I have wanted one. Every time I would see one I would say to myself someday I am going to have one of Tracy's bears.
Living out here in AZ being so close to Sedona (the New Age capital of the world) has rubbed off on me. I have become very aware of the power of positive thinking. I really live it.
So anyway, almost a year ago Tracy emailed me and asked to join my mailing list. I wrote her back and told her how much I loved her work. To my surprise and absolute delight she asked me if I would like to trade. (You attract what your mind is focused on) Needless to say I was thrilled.
So Tracy made a bear just for me. She picked my favorite mohair. (hmm how did she know that?) This bear was exactly the bear I have always wanted. His name is Bj.
I sent her in exchange Eloy. I made him just for her. He has spent a few months living with him and I was afraid I would miss him. But now BJ is sitting in his place and he is perfect there. I am happy to say Tracy is happy with her half of the swap too.
Moral of my story. Think positive, your thoughts create your life. Good things come to those who wait, and dreams really do come true!

Long before I ever met Janice I knew and admired her work on ebay. Then we met when I had that huge pile of mohair that I was selling. I was drooling over one of Janice's bunnies here on TT when to my delight Janice asked me if I would like to swap the bunny for some mohair. I was so more than willing. I am in love with my Booh bunny.
I should have called this post acquiring a collection through the power of your mind
