IMG_9081b.jpgHi everyone!

I am new to these boards and am excited to have joined!  A few days ago I finished my first bear.  Her name is Eddy (pronounced ee-dee).  Here are a few photos.

Eddy is made with dark brown sparse mohair and stands 13.5" tall.  She is string jointed allowing her arms and legs to move up and down.  Though her head is cotter-jointed, it does not move as it has been stitched in place for stability.

She is stuffed with polyfil and pellets to give her a nice "weighted" feel.  Her eyes are vintage shoe button eyes that have been colored white at the tops to give her more character.  Her muzzle, ears, and eyes have all been shaded.

Eddy is wearing a vintage coat and a matching bow at her right ear.

Parts of this bear have been machine and hand stitched.  Because of the eyes and bow, this bear is not considered child safe.

She is available for adoption/purchase through my blog: http://studiotinsel.blogspot.com/2010/1 … -eddy.html

Enjoy!
