Yes ... a swap sounds like a great idea.   If you need any help give me a PM.   Any way ... "I'm in".  Sounds like a swap that would also be a challenge.

Karen and SueAnn ... good to see a couple of "oldies" pushing the boundaries and setting the bar!!

The Russian girls seemed to pickup on this genre pretty quickly.
This link might help with a little more info : http://theblytheghost.blogspot.com/p/steampunk.html

Hope you all have fun!!

I thought about this discussion when I was in Ben Franklin craft store yesterday - they had all sorts of vintage looking gears, keys and other items that looked very Steampunk to me.  So, maybe if you are making future Steampunk bears, you might check in the scrapbooking section which is where I found them in their craft store.

Here's my favorite Steampunk designer - Dawn Schiller-
She teaches online classes, too.

I have several of her Hermits and a Siedh.
And see that wonderful fellow in the watchcase, quizzically peering out?!!
I've got him in a slightly larger, coin silver watch case I sent her to be filled after I saw this one on eBay!!!
