Thanks so much for the info, I think I will wait on it, The Mohair surface
is so wonderful, But I don't want to be struggling..... I would just lose interest
real fast. A Bargain is Not a Bargain if I wont be able to really use it.
thanks for the help

Thanks so much for your help.... I am going to wait, use the little I have, I would rather
spend on mohair that I can really use & Not struggle.

I posted a question in the tips & technique section, I think maybe I posted wrong area...
My dilemma is, I purchased a small amount of UPHOSTERY MOHAIR, Not the Mini Bear fabric type,
this is Mohair that is between 1/8 & 1/4" pile, Dense, Very Nice, but it has a heavier cotton backing(not the stuff like in Intercal & Edinburgh Mohairs).
I am comtemplating purchasing a larger pc. of this fabric, But since I am away from my sewing machine,
I am Not sure how well it will sew & turn. I was hoping that someone would have some insite on this question.
Is this Only good for Upholstery? or can it be used for Teddy Bear Making.
Thanks
cheryl
I just thought of something, This is NOT the Mini Bear type Upholstery Mohair, it is longer than
1/8" but not quite 1/4" I have never seen this before.... that is why I am in such a Dilemma.... thanks for any Help
I just came across some beautiful looking UPHOLSTERY MOHAIR, the mohair is Dense, Short Straight Pile, which I love, it looks & feels wonderful, but I won;t be able to be at my machine for another week to test it
{backing is thicker cotton then edinburgh mohair} I have a chance to purchase another LARGE pc. which I can dye to make other colors, but I need to know if it is Easy to Sew to Make Teddies????? if anyone has any input, I would surely appreciate!
thanks
