ToyboxArts

IMG_5267.JPGIMG_5260.JPGIMG_5262.JPGIMG_5263.JPGShe is small and sweet, 9" / 23 cm tall, or small! She is made with German Schulte mohair, felted, plucked and hand tinted to that perfect well hugged vintage look. She wears glass eyes and a vintage doll dress. She is 5-way jointed with traditional cotter pin joints, and filled with wool so she is soft and cuddly, and weighted with steel shot for a nice heavy feel when held. She has very big ears lined with multicolor polka dot fabric.

She will come with a numbered and signed tag to prove her Toybox Arts origin.
She is available at www.toyboxarts.etsy.com

IMG_4983.JPGIMG_4994.JPGIMG_4982.JPGIMG_4991.JPGIMG_4995.JPG11" tall bear made with German Schulte mohair, 5-way cotter pin jointed, felted, dyed and plucked to that well hugged vintage look! Inspired by huuuuge Alli bear my sister bought at a flea market for 30 cents as a kid. (Alli now resides at my parent's house.) Filled with wool and mohair fabric scraps, so he is soft and cuddly and prefectly huggable, but feels nice and heavy too as I've added steel shot to the limbs and tummy.
He has antique boot button eyes.
I love how his head turned out so round! His snout is pretty darn adorable too!
Vintage doll buggy and two toned small bear friend do not come with him.
He is available in my etsy shop!
FREE worldwide shipping on all toys for a limited time!!!

IMG_4945-1.JPGIMG_4948.JPGIMG_4954.JPGIMG_4944.JPGIMG_4949.JPGHe is a 9" tall (without his hat) monkey made with two tones of mohair, felted, tinted, aged and plucked to that perfect well-loved vintage look! My monkey design is inspired by the old monkey toy that my sister had - I wish I could find that old fellow!!
His feet and hands have wool felt pads. He is filled with wool and mohair fabric scraps so he is soft and cuddly! I added steel shot to his limbs and tummy so he feels nice and heavy in the hand. He has black glass eyes and he is 5-way jointed with cotter pin joints the traditional way.
The jacket is a vintage doll jacket from the 30's and I made his fez with wool felt. Everything is of course removable, I don't like any clothing or accessories that you can't take off!!!
All my toys are numbered collectible toys and come with a certificate.

Find him in my etsy store : www.toyboxarts.etsy.com

IMG_4923.JPGIMG_4928.JPGIMG_4929.JPGIMG_4926.JPGIMG_4922.JPGShe is 9" tall and made of pink and white mohair fabrics and pink-with-brown-polka dots cotton and linen blend fabric. She wears a polka dot romper and her eyes are antique boot buttons.  She is filled with wool for softness, mohair fabric scraps for texture and steel shot for weight. I have aged her to look like she has endured decades of loving hugs (and perhaps a drag through a bit of dirt!). She is original design by me.

Find her at my etsy shop! (My web page is still not ready...)

ToyboxArts

Oh he IS handsome!
I want to make a really big bear some day too... bear_laugh I hope he finds a good home!!!!

Hi everyone,
I was wondering what your reasons are either for selling your patterns, or choosing not to sell.
Does it affect the sales of your finished creations?

The reason I ask is my husband suggested I should sell my monkey pattern and I'm considering it.
Thanks bear_original

IMG_4611.JPGIMG_4616.JPGIMG_4607-1.JPGIMG_4612-1.JPGHe is up to a lot of trouble all the time, getting himself so messy!!! Oooops!

He is 13" tall and made of two colors, pale blue and faded black mohairs. One ear and one arm are black, the rest is pale blue, and the insides of his ears and his foot pads are vintage style linen-cotton blend fabric in faded black and spring green! He is is stuffed with pure wool for softness, mohair fabric scraps and wood wool for texture, and steel shot for weight.
I have treated and aged him to be felted and looking like he has endured decades of loving hugs, and more than one roll in the mud and tumble through the woods, or maybe he got caught under a fence! (That would explain the tears in his ear and his romper)
He is 5-way cotter pin jointed the traditional way, and he wears antique boot button eyes! I love those, they give such a sweet, mischievous glint to the eyes!
He is wearing a matching romper with a snap closure in the back. The outfit is of course removable! I don't like my toy animals to wear anything you can't take off!

Laura doll doesn't come with him :)

Please contact me by e-mail for inquiries about him. My web page is coming along!!!! Stay tuned!!! I'm also opening an Etsy shop as a place to sell my toys.

ToyboxArts

The nose is so cute! He's very expressive.

ToyboxArts

super cuteeeee!! looks so real too bear_original

ToyboxArts

I'm making my 4-piece head with 1 piece for the back of the head, with two darts, and then two side pieces and the gusset for the front. I do this because it allows me to shape the head's "sides".
