Yes, Jane...I will be living in UK    New country, new lifestyle, new culture and new weather  Will be an exciting experience for me, and also lots of planning and works in settling down in UK and also having a new role as "wife" hee hee

Sue Ann, at the moment...we have yet to decide on the date of the wedding, possibly before the end of the year...so much to settle here before I leave, like my job (being in this job for more than 6 years! Lots of handover and training to do for the replacement), then have to settle my parents' welfare (ensure they have enough)...then the huge task of getting the papers done for settlement in UK...yesterday I've only found out that new rules and fees come in force from 2nd April 2007...fees have doubled and introduction of test in English proficiency and life in UK     

Hopefully, things will go smoothly for us in the planning and application works  :pray:

Haa haaa....So true Dilu!  I learnt my lesson on that too...Now whatever I don't understand, I just click on the "X" or click "No" 

Well, recently (somewhere early Dec 06) I had a major PC disaster BUT wasn't my fault though...the lightning decided to visit and "fried" my computer while I was taking a hot shower (luckily, I wasn't electrocuted).  The lightning I think travelled through the phone wire connected to my modem as my computer wasn't switched on at all. 

While I was "la la la" away in the bathroom, KaBOOM!  my whole house power tripped! and I was left standing...ahem..."unladylike" in the bathroom..then I was able to get to my room, found my torchlight and turned on the main power...and then discovered my PC has a slight burning smell...couldn't switched on it anymore.     Then I dismantled my computer...power supply and motherboard got fried!  Even my poor "undestructable" Robotic modem!  I was sooooo sad...my poor modem...I had dropped it so many times, until the whole casing has broken to pieces BUT it still worked so well...has been with my family for more than 10 years...was passed down from my brother to me...and I have used it for more than 6 years!

For a couple of days, I was sufferring "withdrawal symptoms" for not being able to get on the internet at home...

Ohhh...my computer is up again after one week...I tried to salvage as much workable parts as I could from my "fried" pc...I was able to re-use my hard drive, graphic cards, monitor and the casing only.  Bought a new CPU, motherboard, DDR ram, modem card and power supply....and assembled back my pc in one night, then transferred my hard drive data to my brother's notebook and reformat it and set up the operating system again....

AND last night....another disaster...my PC monitor went KAPUT!  Arghhhhhhhhhhh......I seem to be hit by some PC curse!  I think the next one going to RIP will be my graphic card....I discovered the fan doesn't work anymore    Now I am paranoid about my hard drive too....

Opppss... :doh: I think I may have confused you, that isn't a piccie of KL, that Johor state, which is flooded now....KL or Klang Valley is on Red Alert starting today in case of such flood happening here too...as KL is very susceptible to flash flood....

Ohhhh.... Dilu....I have UFOs tooo.....6 mini bear UFOs....3 knitting UFOs and 1 crochet bear UFO    Not sure how does this happens?  I told myself a couple of time DO NOT start any new craft project until I finish the previous one...BUT BUT BUT, I still couldn't resist the temptation to start anothter one

That's great new!  Hope it will wipe out the fire soon    Wish some of the rain here would go over there...Malaysia is having very heavy rain and terrible floods in six states, causing some death...and now in the newspaper today, Klang Valley (which is where Kuala Lumpur is situated..also where I am now) is on red alert as heavy rain expected to last until Sunday 

I guess, I should plan some stocking of groceries now...in case I get stuck in my house and move some electrical items up to the top floor.....

Oh yes, Karen...terrible for the sake of profit    Every year we dreaded the "haze" but nothing could be done...same old promises from Indonesia government but not action...so we always have surgical mask in our bag...just in case...once, my nose bleed and I couldn;t breathe well, nearly fainted.

Talking about Christmas pressie...I am "itching" to open up the Christmas pressie from my boyfriend and his mom hee hee....I was told NOT to open until Christmas day or latest midnight of Christmas eve...hee hee
