I've done a little bit more research for you. The pictures were not very good or too clear. To me looks like gentle Ben from the late sixties. Here's a link that one sold on eBay.

Your bear seems to be handmade. The tag and jacket or coat seems be from a Paddington Bear.

Hi everyone I read online that he passed away back in 2019? Does anyone have many more information? I'd would very much appreciate it.
I'm referring to this link I saw:
"https://mountainmullins-com.cdn.ampproj … -menten%2F"
I did some research myself. Here's a link to what I found. This should answer your questions!

Looks almost the same.
Cute bear! Your bear is British most likely made by Chad valley, Chiltern or Merrythought is most likely the lable on the foot is royal endorsement. You may want to do some research on the label itself that will help you a lot.
I shrunk the photos hopefully they will load. Enjoy.
I added the shirt myself .
This is one heavy bear and big.
Very tall nearly 30 inches
No longer in business. I understand they can be hard to find.
I've been trying the last couple days to get some photos loaded up. I'll try one at a time and hope it works? Any questions please ask.
Here's a site I use all the time. It may help. Good luck!http://www.collectorvalues.com/Steiff/
