Aww Maria, I hadn't realised that you weren't coming this year. What a shame, I'd have loved a good catch up - it's been far too long! Never mind, hopefully I'll catch up with you at one of next year's? I'm excited and nervous about tomorrow having been out of the loop for a while. I've been working like a mad woman in the evenings to get ready but unfortunately I'm going to have a very 'bare' bear table with only 9 bears/critters (7 of those are under 10" too! Eek!).....off to do the finishing touches, then photograph them for the show preview on my website....
Sorry, should have mentioned that it'd be easier to copy and paste the list from the previous poster, then add your details, so by the end there is 1 list of everone.
Will combine mine and Paula's entries below so could the next poster please copy and paste this list:

Was thinking it might be a good idea to make a list of all the Teddy Talk traders and visitors attending Hugglets on the 12th. Thought this would make it easier having a list a list here so we can recognise fellow TTers rather than trying to pick out names from the full list on Hugglets website - the first time I visited Hugglets I used the floorplan map and highlighted the stands of those I wanted to make sure I said hello to - found this very useful on the day. I'm starting a list below, so please add your TT name, real name, business name and hall/stand number for those trading, and your TT name and real name for those visiting. I appologise if this has already been done.

Ooh, GREAT topic Karon!
Umm, I can't pick just one, so can I have 2.....if I say pretty please??
Ok, my first is my Fiskars soft touch micro tip scissors - they are sprung loaded and take a bit of getting used but I LOVE mine for cutting out mohair/alpaca/suede etc.
And second are my forceps - I used them for stuffing my bears up to 12", pulling needles through mohair, turning limbs etc...they're soooo versatile and I'd be lost without them....was also very excited to find a very small pair a few years ago that are excellent for minis!

Wow, you're a very lucky man!! And they sure are BIG!! Would love a Gregory Bear one day.
Aww, thank you so much everybody!
She really is a cutie, isn't she? She's such a good girl too! I still haven't got used to having fair-haired, blue-eyed baby as both boys have dark hair and dark brown eyes (like me!). Imogen is more like my husband who had white-blonde hair as a baby/toddler and has very blue eyes...the only thing she really gets from me is her very pale skin and dimples!
Clare (Fuller)...I was thinking about the name!! Thought of the one you suggested too! No, I won't change it really but maybe I'll have to introduce a range of bears called 'Little Poppets' or something like that?! LOL
Clare (Davis-Tedd)...yes, the boys love her dearly. I'm not looking forward to one day having a teenage daughter (although I was never a handful as a teenager)...it's bad enough with James doing his 'it's not fair' routine and stomping up the stairs at the moment...and he's only 8!!!
Thank you for the warm welcome back
Debora, I remember reading about your adopted girls when I was last on here - how are they doing now?
Here is a YouTube link on how to pronounce Imogen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35OpnjG957U ...it's probably easier than trying to write how to pronounce it!
It's actually a very old fashioned name most popular in England and Australia - I don't think it's very often heard of in the US...here's a little info on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imogen .

Hi everyone,
It's been a long while since I posted on here....TOO long! . I still keep in contact with some TTers on F/B but there are so many of you that I have lost touch with.
I think the last time I posted was last Spring/Summer when I was pregnant - we had a beautiful daughter born on the 21st October. As most of you will know, we have 2 boys already so our little princess was truly a dream come true. We named her Imogen Rose. Can't quite believe that she is now 8 months old!
I was sooooo tired in pregnancy that I involuntarily put the bears on hold for a while (just kinda happened!)....that was 18 months ago!!! I'm trading at Hugglets in September and am trying to get my bear-making-mojo back by drawing up a few new designs - have even started on the very first Pumpkin & Pickle mouse! It was soooooo good to pick up a needle and thread again! It means that I will have to cut down on my crochet time though (which I've taught myself and I LOVE).
So this is kind of a "hi, it's me, and I'm back" post!
I've added some pictures of Imogen - the first was taken at 4 days old, the bluebell one was taken last month (yes, I crocheted her the bluebell hat!) and the last one was taken a few weeks ago.
Beary Hugs,
Gemma X
I know that some of you already know this from Facebook but......
Had my scan yesterday so am now 'officially' allowed to tell everyone!!
Everything was fine and the baby measures 56mm crown to rump which is correct for 12 weeks. Had my husband and our 2 little boys with me at the scan. James (who's 7) was mesmerised by it and is very excited now he has actually 'seen' the baby.
I am due on the 12th October 2009.
Hi,
Delilah is now available on ebay.co.uk until tomorrow evening with a starting bid way under her original price and no reserve!!! I've always been VERY pleased with the way Delilah turned out but unfortunately she doesn't seem to take very good photos (she's MUCH better 'in the fur'). She's only one of the few open mouth bears I've made and the very first one of this particular size (15"). Click the ebay link under my avatar to see her auction.
He is soooooooo adorable! And that mohair is divine!
Super cute. Isn't alpaca gorgeous to work with? I love it.
WHAT A CUTIE-PIE!!!! And that picture is FAB!
Oh Denise she's so sweet - and a BEAUTIFUL colour!
He's HUGE!!! Very unique and cute though.
Oh gosh he's cute! Love your bears.
Hi all,
Just to let you knw that 'Isabella' is now available on ebay with a starting price of £85 (that's nearly HALF her original price) and NO RESERVE!!! Just click the 'ebay' link under my avatar to go to her auction. She finishes tomorrow evening (UK).
So sorry I haven't posted on anyones wonderful creations for a while....I'm off to dog training with Nara soon but will be sure to put aside a bit of 'TT-time' later!

I had to forward that onto my husband....he loved it!!! Both he and I are baffled as to how on earth the lady who rolled her car completely over on the metal gates managed to do it!!! My husbands words were 'Try explaining THAT to the insurance company'!!!
Hi Laurie,
I've been offered a place up in Hall 4 again (stand 126 this time I think) near to where I was last September.
Hope to see you there Laurie! What time are you arriving?
It says on her site that they will only be available to purchase at the show.... .....can't blame her really.....first come, first served n all!
She is up in Hall 4 so I'll come to see you Jane after I've rushed to her stall!!!!
I AM GOING!!!!! I did get a cancellation place invite over a week ago but had to decline as I just couldn't get enough bears made in time. I've been offered a place in September too.
I will be coming as a visitor this Sunday and I'll have my 7 year old son, James with me....it's his first time at Hugglets and he is soooooooooo excited....keeps asking me LOADS of questions about it. We are coming in by train - we're lucky that it takes under an hour from where we live. I'm going to try and get there earlier as I've seen on a show preview a certain little creation I've got my eye on that I've JUST managed to scrape enough money together for! Hope I get it!! Don't know how James will cope waiting in the queue.....half an hour can seem like a lifetime for them!!
I'll try and get round to seeing you all!
I'm getting there...VERY nearly finished. My swap partner MAY need a little bit more time but I'm fine with that.
WONDERFUL bears everyone!!!!
How the HELL does that work??!! I tried it about 25 times and EVERY time she was correct....that's going to drive me mad.....
I just feel so, so sorry and helpless for all the people in the state of Victoria. As many of you know, my husband is from Melbourne, Australia. His mum lives in a place called Officer and her partner is part of the CFA and has been out 4 or 5 times throughout the day and night, every day for the past week. My husbands best friend lives in Carrum Downs and he is also a firefighter in the CFA - my husband spoke to him this morning - he is exhausted and in shock for seeing how quickly the fires are spreading, but also what he has had to witness when the flames have been put out. It's unimaginable. We are going back out to Melbourne in April and I am dreading what it's going to look like when we travel around the area to visit friends and family. Just so utterly sad and devestating.
It was only about 5 days ago that I was speaking to my mother-in-law and we were both saying that anyone caught lighting the fires should be charged with murder......looks like that is what they are now planning to do....just hope the courts do the right thing and make sure they DO get punished. They're sickos. What sort of mentality have these people got? Even my 7 year old son knows that it's wrong and what the consequences would be of doing something so utterly selfish.
Your creations are just AMAZING!!!! And you've certainly mastered the open and close lids!
