Wax Bears I,m not sure if this is the same thing but my hubby last year bought me a waxed bear she,s white and is made all out of wax and does really look like real fur and she is scented with some kind of cinnamon and apples ( my fav !!!! ) I will take a pic tomorrow and show you she,s really cute and yes you can see her eyes !!!!

Hello all I do agree with you all on the magazine thing!!!! I am an avid scrapbooker and do teach classes and try to stay on top of the newest toys for it but I myself am curious as to why there are sooooo many scrapbooking mags and trust me there is alot of advertising I find now more than ever and I do not buy them all I would go broke !!!!   But also i find it just too overwhelming to pick one...At one time we used to be able to go to our local drugstore and get every teddy bear mag available now we only get 1 TBF and I am sooo disappointed I looked forward to seeing them and have talked to the distributor here and he said that unless the stores have requests for these mags they will not carry them....my point is they were selling and I for one know they were cause I was buying the bloody things !!!!
So may I maybe suggest telling your local mag shops or whatnots to request these mags....Sorry for the spiel it just upsets me me when I can,t see all your lovely creations that are much deserved and I only get to read about them on here !!!

Me too please as i have not done this before and have been away for awhile oh ok who are we kidding since March ( :redface: ) We sold our house and bought another and decided to change the whole thing so as you can see been quite busy but I have peeked in on you guys from time to time hehehe !!! So I now have decided its time to get back to me ! Looking forward to this.... a personal challenge for me !!!!

Way to go Daphne !!!!!! This past Thursday night I was dead asleep on the couch as I having been fighting a severe cold and seeing as I have just moved fighting an unending mass of boxes and furniture !!!! ugh, when my hubby woke me up and startled the bejesus out of me and said there,s that rabbit.......me going what rabbit he said you know the one the girl on TT made for that movie....I bolted straight up and was shocked to see the advertisement for it and even more shocked that my hubby all this time had listened to me about Mimzy !!!!!! LOL

hmmmm... the part i hate the most I will have to say is definitely the ears mine always seem to shift and I eventually have to undo them and resew them makes me almost unbearable to live with !!!! ( no pun intended )  Favorite part would have to be seeing the legs and arms after I,ve turned them and also faces after sculpting !!!

Thanks gals will have to try Wal-Mart as there is no Michaels here I could only wish hehehe and the other choice here is Fabricland and well let me just say I,m so irritated with them... first I went on November 6 2006 to buy joints for my bears none in stock and I thought ok it happens but it is now January 28 2007 and they still have none in stock ...I go down there and I call and they say just keep checking (will have to see if I can find some in bulk) secondly when i asked them for ultrasuede they looked at me like I had 10 heads and rudely said uh we do not sell that here! I thought ok this is Fabricland right.....I think I will be scared to ask them about cording !!!!! LOL

Ok guys ....I know that cording is for around the eyes but my question is where do i get some and is there a specific size I need and also do any of you have what I have seen listed as owl eyes???? They look kinda neat !!!
