Thank you all so much for your nice comments. You can't imagine how much it means to me coming from people I admire so much. Jane, we do love the kids, but we can't wait for Joseph to leave for school in August so we can reclaim our lives, home, and bank account.

I especially thank Sandi for all of her encouragement, patience and understanding. She's been wonderful to me and helped me find the courage to try.

I hate the thought of fires and I feel for those affected by them. Southern California sees wildfires all the time, though they've never been so close to us. My thoughts are with those affected by the fire.

Carol, I just visited your website; it's wonderful. I'm a bit envious that you are so creative in so many ways. Your hand embroidery is beautiful. I love the cards and it's very generous of you to share them with everyone. I would love to make cards, but I don't seem to have the talent for it. You should probably sell these instead of giving them away, but it's awfully nice of you to do so.

There's a lady who sometimes walks her two Corgis in our neighborhood. Everytime I see them I want to run over and talk to them. They are adults, but still so cute. Maybe one of these days I'll approach her, but you never know if they's prefer not to stop. This little guy is adorable. And, obviously, I like short-legged puppies, too.
