DSCF0079.jpgChowlea-Bears-Full-body.jpgChowlea-Bears-Face.jpgChowlea-Bears-Detailed-head.jpgHenry is very shy - but would like to say hello
He's my first creation - so I would appreciate any feedback you have the time to give.  Don't laugh too hard - it may hurt his feelings.

He is made from fully lined faux fur with suede paws and feet.
His eyes are hand painted and his nose handstitched in perle cotton.
His face is needle-sculpted and scissor sculpted (terrifying)
He is five-way nut and bolt jointed with poly-fibre filling.

I don't have a website as yet but feel free to email or PM

I apologize for the size and quality of the photos - I'm getting to grips with the technology - very slowly.
I may have put it in the wrong section as well    Flippin eck

I'm afraid I've been news hopping trying to get latest info. My Grandfather was a collier and he himself was a mines rescue man. Mining used to be one of the main industries in Lancashire (UK) like cotton - until all the mines were closed.  I distinctly remember going to school and dreading the pit whistle going.  One long continuous blast was the signal for an accident.
Its like nothing else on earth - it haunts me to this day.

I couldn't live without my box!  Seriously, I love it!  Steal away Shantell!  You'll find it so helpful!  Mine is fairly well organized at this point... I am oh so proud of myself for having just a few organized things in my house!  My books and my box!  I have all kins of stuff in there, packed into manilla file folders... paint swatches, pictures of rooms that I really liked the color of, dolls, bridal boquet pictures, plus a lot of poems, stories, cool pictures of faeries that I've run across... just STUFF!  And, I find that if I haven't been inspired to do something from the box, at least i am in a much nicer and more inspired state of mind after rumaging through a bunch of lovely things!

Beary truly yours,

Can this be a football free haven pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its not the football match itself - its the seven hour 'whats going to happen' laughingly called the pre-match comment, followed by the two hour  'well I knew they wouldn't win' excruciatingly known as the post-match egg-on-the-face analysis, followed by the match 'highlights' or in truth a ninety minute replay, followed by the entire 'replay',   The match itself is just fine - particularly with the sound off.
I know pundits have to justify their presence - but has anyone thought -JUST WATCH THE FLIPPIN MATCH.

Glad to be of some help

Tracy - in my experience - its dentists leaning on the lower jaw whilst working - that kills me too.  I use acupuncture, and have a physiotherapist 'move' my neck.  The pain is usually referred pain from the upper vertebrae in the neck, with the supporting neck muscles in spasm.  This may help you.

The man who frames for me frames football shirts with glass front and back - so that the player name and number are just as visible as the team/country badge on the front. A bespoke framer is often less expensive than framing in a craft shop - and they use acid free materials to prevent damage to the textile being framed.

Helena - If you contact a homeopathic company e.g. Wileda (UK) they can supply a pollen mix in tablet form.  (The usual culprit at this time of year is birch)  It can help ease symptoms - and next year if you take it just prior to the season you just need a maintenance dose weekly.  They will give you all the details.  No side effects - drowsiness etc - its brilliant - and I'm the biggest sceptic in the world.

What do people not understand about the word NO.?
Its a complete sentence -   No.

It requires no explanation.

But its so hard to say.

Perhaps its a female thing - not wanting to let anyone down.

Well, I had a detailed report, then the web ate it. First, your home page says I don't have Java. The link to Java doesn't work.

You are a COP? Good lord woman, do you ever sleep?

You know my views from our personal emails.  I totally agree with the above observations.

Hi - I appreciate a chance to see the article - Many thanks.

Picking jaw up off the floor - I have to tell you I just stared and stared at the images for ages.  How proud you both must be in being able to create such beautiful things.

I suspect these bears will go 'out the door' just as soon as you have unpacked.

Lucky people who have a chance to see them 'up close and personal;' not to mention those who even get to take them home.

Congratulations
