Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

Oh, Daphne, I know all about excuses. Aw, hell, I don't even make up excuses anymore, I'm just lazy! I'm too lazy to make up excuses! I have lots of cute tops in my closet that I can't, or won't, wear because they are just too snug and look silly with my little pooch. I thought about taping some pics of gorgeous girls on my fridge or something, but that would just encourage Daniel to bother me!

I've had so much fun reading your stories and seeing all the pictures. I would be otherwise clueless about the happenings on a dairy farm. I have the utmost respect for you and your husband, and all the other farmers too!

I loved seeing all the photos especially the close-ups at the end, but darn it, Judi, now I want a cow!

As I sit here thinking about it more...I can't understand how I don't get motivated.

My tummy always bloats after I eat. Always has. Pre-pregnancy, it wasn't such a big deal, but now that I've got that spare tire around my middle (as my lovely fiancee says) it's really bad. Last weekend my mom, sister and I went out to eat during a shopping trip. They were laughing at me because after I ate I seriously looked like I was pregnant. We weren't done shopping so I joked that I would just walk around rubbing my tummy pretending I was pregnant! Now, shouldn't that be motivation enough???

Well, I'm happy to say I've stuck to my #1 resolution and that was to quit smoking. It's easy now...not quite a challenge anymore.

So, as for my other resolutions...Yes, Daphne, I have thrown them out the window!

I know it's bad, but I hate exercising and I just don't know what the trick is to stay motivated enough to get my lazy butt moving!!

I noticed it a few days ago, but I really have no idea how long it's been there.

Yes, good advice, Heather! After getting a not-so-dwarf from the pet store, I'll look around and try to find a breeder.

Lisa, I remember my mom got a bunny for my little brother years ago. We got one from a pet store and he was supposed to be a dwarf...yeah right! He turned into a really BIG bunny!

Oh, Tammy, how lucky you are! What a fabulous bear! Debbie, you've done an exceptional job with this fella! And his Koolaid green is fantastic! (I love dying with Koolaid.)

My sister is thinking of getting a bunny as a pet. She'd like to get a smaller sized one so I was wondering if Kassie or any other bunny experts might be able to point us in the right direction. Thanks!

And Kassie, I cannot find any place that I can actually buy angora yarn in person, so every bit I have has come from ebay.

Today I received my swap from Dilu. I was gone shopping all day and was so excited to see a package on my porch when I got home. Isn't she just the sweetest?! I've decided to name her Polly. Actually she whispered in my ear what she wanted to be called. Who am I to disagree?    She arrived holding an itty bitty kitty which my daughter quickly swiped! Dilu did such a wonderful job. Her dress is so pretty and I just love the colors. And she's not naughty at all. She's been such a good girl! Oh, Kassie, I'm so sorry to hear about Peter. But please don't feel bad about sharing with us. That's what friends do! And if you feel like crying, well then cry. Peter blessed you with 11 good years and saying goodbye is a very hard thing to do and crying will certainly help. And we are here for you, too, if you need anything.  :hug:  :hug:  :hug:
