I would just like to
so very much for your lovely comments.
I really appreciate it very much and it means so much to me.
I am really looking forward to another year of TT : seeing your lovely bears, hearing your sad and happy stories and sharing some of my teddies with you.
Peter & his bears
Oh, how I adore such a huge handsome hunk of a bear.
9lbs he weighs: how wonderful it must be to give him a big hug !
There may not be much room left in the house, but there is definitely room left in my heart.
I'm keeping my eye on him ...
Hugs,
Peter & the bears
Beppe is adorable, Catherine, but so are all your bears !
I also love his beautiful curly fur (almost as if he has had a haircut and a perm ) .. and his deep blue eyes .. and his big sculted feet ...
I'm sure he will soon find a lovely new family.
A big hug from,
Peter, Winston, Crosby, Lewis, Bailey & the whole teddy gang
Hi Susan,
Your site looks great and I love the "hippie" bear on your homepage : "make bears" indeed
.
I left a comment on your blog that you might find interesting ...
Don't forget to put my name in your hat (and in your heart ) on Valentine's day !
Hugs,

Hi Jan,
I am amazed that a crocheted teddy can be soooo cute. Reagan is really adorable.
Wonderful work !

Peter & his bears
Thank you Joanne and everyone who responded to my "silly" anniversary
Now I know you also visit other forums, when will I see you making an appearance on facebook? The gangs all there too, and you could have all your teddy pictures posted there. You have great pictures.
Joanne
You are the second "teddy bear" person in a few days who asked me why I haven't shown myself on facebook.
I guess I still feel a bit uncomfortable "coming out" with my hug of teddy bears  .
But I will give it some serious thought and when I do decide to join facebook, TT'ers will be the first ones to be invited as friends .
Hugs,

Hi to all you lovely TT’ers !
You will probably declare me mad, but today I am celebrating a special anniversary : It has been exactly ONE YEAR since I joined TEDDY TALK.
And may I say : I haven’t regretted it once! I don’t think there has been one day in the past year when I haven’t logged on to TT, even if only for a few minutes.
It has been a real eye-opener to read all these amazing posts : all the beautiful bears and other creatures, the adorable cute animal pics of the day, all the joys and sorrows you have experienced over the past year and have shared with us.
It has been said before, but I would like to repeat it here loud and clear :
I like to think that I might even have become a slightly better person for having known you all.
Peter & the whole hug of bears
Hi Susan,
Oliver is very beautiful; I especially love his fur, such gorgeous golden brown colour !

Hi Ren,
As a collector I really like Bearpile.
What appeals most to me, is that you get to see many new bears from different artists. I check it at least a few times every week to see what's new (maybe I shouldn't, because there is always one I would love to adopt ).
Although I have adopted several teddies directly through Bearpile, usually I click on the hyperlink to the website of the artist and contact them myself.
Good luck
Hugs,

Hi Richard,
You did a great job on Choc Chip !
If this is only your third bear, I am sure that the following ones will be even more lovely.
Well done,
Peter & the bears
He is absolutely gorgeous, Paula !
I love that dark tipped mohair; it makes his expression even more endearing, especially with the blue sparkling eyes ...
I hope he has a safe trip all the way to Singapore.
Hugs,

Hi Katy,
Beautiful website !
The photography is superb, especially the landscapes and wildlife photography.
Will you be adding more photos of the adopted bears, because I understand that there were already five members of the Thistle family and two of the Flower family ?
Hugs,
Peter & the bears
Wonderful news, Raewyn, many many congratulations !!
Hugs,
Peter, Valentino & Petal and the wole gang of teddies
Wow, she is very active right now; she just got up and yawned three times...
Now she is grooming herself : licking her paws, her eyes open and close all the time.
At the bottom left of the picture you can see her muzzle and her paws :
I could watch this for hours, much better that TV ...
Thanks Maria,
Hugs,
Peter
Hi Julia,
Alice is adorable; I love the curved arms and the sweet innocent expression . Her new mom will be thrilled.
She is around 10" and is enjoying looking at all the lovely snow outside - just so long as she doesn't have to go play in it.....
My teddies are exactly the same : they just love seeing people messing about in the snow as long as they are warm and safely inside.
Hugs,
Peter & the bears
It's funny when you think that all we want to watch is a sleeping bear!
I think it will be more entertaining than most of the shows they give on TV !
Hugs,
Peter & the bears
Lenora, I couldn't log on to the site either.
My guess is that too many people are trying to see this at the same time.
Here is another link you can try, but I couldn't get any images either : http://www.wildearth.tv/web/wwbearden01/home
I think we will have to try again later ...
Hugs,

Hi Everyone,
Since I adopted my first bear made by Janice McLeod (Jigpaws) at the September Hugglets show, I have admired her bears very much. In the past months two more of Janice's bears joined my hug.
When I last mailed Janice, she told me that it had been months since she had made a new bear . So I'm hoping that these photos will get her creative juices flowing again and will get her back to bear making.
I think it would be such a shame if her wonderful talent for bear making would go to waste.
So I would like to introduce to you my three Jigpaws-bears : Jasmine (with the red bow); James (in his old army uniform) and Jaffa. I hope you like them.
Hugs,
Peter & the bears
A while ago whe had "Bambi in real life" and now this :
"the lady and the tramp" (or at least one of them) in real life.
Just adorable; it makes me what to share the spaghetti with him/her
Hugs,
Peter & the bears
Oh she is wonderfully sweet, Karo, and her outfit is beautiful : a real teddy lady !
Hugs,
Peter & his bears
I've signed this too : no 52.976.
It breaks my heart to read these stories. How can anyone be this cruel??
Locking him up and throwing away the key would be too lenient for this guy .
Peter
What a great way to start the new year, Paula : Edward Dear is adorable !
The colour of his fur is warm and beautiful; traditional, yes, but oh so lovely.
Hugs,
Peter & the All Bear Gang (Horatio, Bellamy, Morris, Paddy & Tiddler) send you all their love
Hi Ellen,
The puffin is beautiful, very lifelike, but I love the moose .
He must be the best for giving great big hugs.
Since we are freezing our paws off here in Belgium, I would love to have him keep me warm at night !
It must have been some job stuffing him.
Hugs,
Peter & the bears
Hi,
I have another book by Gunther Pfeiffer called "The Story of the Steiff Teddy Bear, an illustrated history from 1902".
It gives you all the basic information you need about types of buttons, how the bears were marked and stuff.
