My latest sad looking panda -porcelain face and hand dyed mohair.

Stunning -wonderful !!!!
I love the colours you have used -Beautiful little bear.
Minty is from a new design -he does remind me of the sloth in Ice Age!!!
Minty is made from a sparse mint mohair with cashmere paw pads -gorgeous colour!Little bit darker than the pictures show!
I have given Minty beautiful green glass eyes with white felt backing and resin top and bottom eyelids.I have embroidered his nose and shaded his face.
Minty is cotter pin jointed and wears a porcelain name tag.15" tall

Sweet -love it !!
This is my latest porcelain faced clown -I love making clowns as you can use lots of colour combinations .
Maximillian is 16" tall not including his little felt clown hat. He has a hand sculpted porcelain face with set in blue dolls eyes-a little tongue and two little teeth.I am pleased with the way the art work has turned out on his face.
I have made Maxi's body from two colour felted mohair and his head and hands from a long curly cream mohair. He has cashmere foot pads and wears a pretty chiffon neck ruffle.
Hope he makes you smile?
Fabulous as always!
Sally Ann is one of my latest oldies with a nautical theme. She is sitting next to her companion waiting for the tide to come in -hope you like them and that they give you a taste of the old days by the seaside!
On Bearpile now.

Your cats are lovely Isa!
Thanks Girls -hooked on making these -someone has suggested a lamb which is a great idea!
Lovely oldie Lyn -you are certainly hooked on the old style!!!
Here is another of my Googly eyed creatures -Peaches and cream is a little bunny girl who has a sweet little face with beautiful blue dolls eyes set into her face and a cute little smiling water melon shaped mouth.I have made her body from a pure silk fur that is beautiful and soft.It is in two colours -a pale peach and lemon.
I have given Peaches a pretty lining to her ears and she has the same cotton that has been lined for her paw pads. She is decorated with silk bows and tiny buttons.
Her head is nut and bolt jointed and can move but her hat is not removable -she is cotter pin jointed and has a bag of encased sand in her tummy!
She is a chubby 12"
Peaches and Cream Yummy Yummy!!!!!
Yes I copied that style of the 30/40 doll/bear -My childhood friend had one -just love them as it means I can combine my love of doll making with bear making!
Oh! This is great -I have been making these doll/creatures for a couple of years now?
Samuel is one of my old loved series. I have created him with a lovely gold antique looking mohair that is just wonderful for this style of bear.
Samuel has been aged with darns and shading and with my own ageing process.
He has a wobbly head joint and is cotter pin jointed. In his tummy there is a bag of encased sand for a nice feel!
Sam has antique boot button eyes and an a sparingly embroidered nose for a well kissed look.
I have given him a really old hand knitted jacket with darns and REAL moth holes-no longer active though!!!!
In one picture he is sitting with his friend Elsbeth who is on Dollpile.

Sweet bear!
Yes his face is hard.Looking at the bear though it blends in with the fur.
I hand sculpt a face -make a mould from the sculpt -then pour porcelain slip into the mould -finally fire the face and colour fire several times -then make the body to fit the head in mohair!
Thanks for the interest! Jo x
My Latest little porcelain faced bear .
She is on bearpile now!!!!
Giorgio is another of my old loved clown series -I just love making them and seeing them come to life -ageing them with darns and my own special ageing technique.
Giorgio is made from German mohair - his two coloured body has been hand dyed in an old looking orange and green.I have given him antique boot button eyes and sparingly embroidered his nose for a well kissed look.
He wears an aged cotton hat and matching ruffle and rusty bells.
Cotter pin jointed and he has a wobbly head joint -encased sand in his tummy.
I enjoyed making him very much-hope you like him?
