I hand sculpt a face -make a mould from the sculpt -then pour porcelain slip into the mould  -finally fire the face and colour fire several times -then make the body to fit the head in mohair!

So his face will feel hard like a porcelin doll, but his body will be soft?  I'm just trying to get the picture in my head because I can't see it.

Yes his face is hard.Looking at the bear though it blends in with the fur.
