Well I want to see this bunny when he is done.
Plus I want to know what movie he is going to be in.
I usually let mum do my air brushing.
I need to get my own. Mum really waters down her painting. 1:3 to 1:4.
The air compressor she uses cycles on and off.

He is very sweet. The wiskers make a difference.

I use setscrews for the neck joints and lock nuts and bolts for the rest of my joints.
I tighten each nut as tight as I can get it then I losen 1/2 turn to 1 1/2 turns in order to ge tthe desired tightness.
The big advantage of lock nuts is that in 10 years if you need to re-tighten the join you can just go in and tighten that nut. With cotter pins you will have to replace the cotter pin.
But it doesn't really matter with method you use. Daphane is right, it all depends on what your goal is. If you want a loose floppy bear use cotter pins. If you want them to stand up I would use luck nuts and bolts.
When I make really floppy pieces I use 2 cotter pins hooked together. But most of the time I just use lock nuts and bolts.

There is an article on cleaning bears in the newest issue of TB&F. You only need to use the bubbles to clean your bear, not the soap itself.

Take close up picture of him and e-mail them to John Port. I know that he will be able to help you identify him.

I got the phone call while sitting in North Carolina at the airport waiting for our flight home. So what a way to learn!
So I guess this means that atleast Jared will be headed to Las Vegas. Not that I ever really cared to go there.

You have done a wonderful job reporting on Toy Fair.

Mindy have a safe trip home.
I was walking by the Steiff booth when you were there and it looked like they were telling you some very important things.
I am hoping to get a moment to stop by there to view all of their new goodies.

Mum & I do open editions. On Tuesday & Wednesday we allow our buyers to pick up the bears/bunnies that they have purchased.

Heidi has created some wonderful Hippos. One in pink, blue, and grey.
I need to get Cindy to distract Heidi so I can help myself to a couple of the Hippos.

I noticed that we made a mistake. Tucker is actually Tessie, see what happens when you put tags on at 2 in the morning. Tessie is 21". Tucker was the taupe. But rest assured we fixed it.

We were very busy this monring. and the day went by very fast.
I think everyone has been stuck in NYC.

The Manmoth is Huge! I love him. The polar bear in the bottom left is animated. Really cool!
Maybe William was there advertising a new kids karaoke machine?

The snow has stopped.
yeah! but there are huge plies of snow.
I think that there was some power outages on the east side or out on Long Island. I haven't watched the local news to know if there were any power outages. I know that there was concern with outages along the coast. The power companies had crews ready early last night to respond to outages.
Mum and I walked to Europan about 3 blocks east of the Travel Inn to have dinner. We had wonderful Turkey sandwiches w/ cranberry dressing.

Mum & I will be at the show in MD in Nov. I am really looking forward to doing a show in a different area.

Camera? HA. I don't have time to take pictures. That and I did not have the room to pack it. After I get done online I will be studying for my second mid-term. I already took one and passed. I have to the second one by Sunday night.

Well I just found this post. I hope that you are able to get in ok Mindy. I don't see any new posts for Today. I have already seen a few new wonderful faces. But I'll let you share all of that. But I will share that I have fallen in love with a couple of Steiff pieces.

Here I sit in my New York Hotel room 4 blocks for the Javits Center. The weather is not working in our favor. It is predicted that there will be anywhere from 6 to 12 inches in NYC. Yuck! 

I have seen only a few things as most are still under plastic.
