Oh my, he is soooo cute! I have only seen one ever in real life. We had one in out tree when I was a kid... the funny thing is that they are not from around here.. not this far north anyway. Animal control came and got him and took him more south..lol. I think they are soooo cute.

Melanie
Possums look kind of scary. We don't have those here either... too cold proably. They are very cute though!

Oh my.. lol. They sell those Skinks for hundreds of dollars here at the pet store... That is very funny they are running around there.

I can never enter for that reason Daphne. I get myself sooooo stressed out this time of year I don't even try anymore. If I was organized I would have my entries done in the summer.... but I am working on my shows then. It just gets to be too much. I have entered once, probably 10 years ago now..lol. I had to decide what was more important... my sanity or entering a contest. I would still LOVE to have the time to enter.
I really don't know how people do it either... work, bears, pets... and people who have kids.. I would crack.

Oh lord Kelly, lol. Now that would be, um, interesting.. hehehe. I really don't think I could keep my mouth shut on that one.. lololol. BUT you really do have to feel sorry for these people. You do meet some zany people at shows and conventions.
Lol, Clare, well I don't really have an issue with the dolls.. They are great pieces of art (not my bag.. but I see the art in them) BUT it's the treating them like they are alive that freaks me out... lol. heehee. The last show I did I kept whinning and saying... Keeeep theeeemmm awayyyyyy from meeeee.. pleaseeee.. I'm sure some of them heard me, but at least it kept them away.. heehee.
There is no way I'm getting out of work today, let us know what Dr Phil says. I am very interested.

I can appreciate the work that goes into them..... but I am sorry.. the last show I did... there were people pushing those dolls around in carriages..... SO that means they had to load the carriage into a car... unload it.. then push the stroller around all day.........it's a creepy doll. What was worse is that they kept taking them out of the carriage and making people hold it, burping them, rocking them.. hehe. Glad they didn't try that one with me.... I would have said something naughty.. lol.
I would love to see that show, I won't be home from work by then though. Wonder if it will be online.

Oh Wow, that movie was filmed at our Mall here in Edmonton! How cool is that, I had no idea Wanda wrote it... I got to see sooo much of it being filmed. They were here for months. It was so funny, the whole mall was decorated for Christmas in the summer. The movie was only Screened here in Edmonton though, which was a huge bummer.

If you have a fence already and are just using it to keep the dog out of one part of the yard they work great. If you are using it like a fence.. with no fence.. I would not recommend it. We had a problem dog who would climb a 6' chain link fence with barbed wire on the top and all the training and attention did not help.. if you left him for 5 mins alone in the yard he would climb the fence and get out... I would never have believed he climbed the fence if I didn't see it with my own eyes. We got the under ground fencing and attached it to the fence and it worked great. But just as a fence I don't think it would work at all... You can't keep things out or the dog will also learn to run right through it if the dog is willful and wants to get out. We have also used it when we had to store some things in the yard at work for the dog there.. the boss didn't want him eating the tarp for a building that had collapsed from snow.. it was down for a few months till they sorted it out with the insurance company and we couldn't risk the dog eating a $8000 tarp.. lol.
Wow sooooo beautiful!! I don't have much up for decorations yet.. I am still working on finding them.. lol. Most of my stuff is still packed for the move. lol.
Thanks for sharing!!

That is so funny.. we have the frown here too.. lol. I was thinking that last night when I drove home and saw it! lol. They must be happier in Aussieland.... no wonder though.. it's colder here.. heehee!

I like the eyes, it's funky and different.. but I think the bunny is to plain to pull them off.. I think if you want to keep the eyes you need a darker nose and put some color in the ears.. I think then she can pull off the eyes.. And maybe some darker whiskers. Or just change the eyes and have a more plain bunny.

Mine is cut out and ready to sew.. I would have had it mostly done but had un-expected company who stayed all day.. lol. Oh well. I will work on it this weekend!

Melanie
Yeah, it's a big ol scam.. lol. I've had them come to me for the same thing.

Melanie
I love the color myself but that muzzle... Hmmm.. And maybe trim the hair around the eyes a tiny bit so you can see them better.. but I'd wait till you do something with the muzzle.. Maybe a darker nose would even help She is so bright then the nose just fades into her muzzle.
Hugs!!
Melanie
I agree with others, needle sculpt the eyes so you can set them deeper.. and set a little further apart, for a more traditional look anyway... which would suit the bear.
