What we all need is Peace. This 11in/28cm fully jointed bear has been made from multi-colour Steiff-Schulte German mohair and accessorized with Merino wool foot and paw pads.

She has German glass eyes and is stuffed with polyester stuffing and a small amount of steel shot which provides good posture.

In celebration of Canada's 150th birthday I have created a special One of a Kind traditional style teddy bear made from German mohair and silk fabric. 

To complete his attire, he is dressed in a scarf and tam made from Canadian Maple Leaf Tartan.  Finally he has a Canadian made pewter maple leaf tie pin attached to his scarf.

He is 15in/39cm in height and is fully jointed.  His foot and paw pads are made from cashmere.  He does have Germany glass eyes.

Finally, he is stuffed with polyester stuffing and a small amount of steel shot (to give him good posture).

Lyn your card arrived on Christmas Eve as well.  I hope this tradition continues as I love receiving cards from around-the-world.

Received my first Christmas card today from New Jersey.  Gives me faith that the post office 'might' get my cards to the final destination before Dec. 25th.

I am in Toronto and have been getting freezing rain for 24 hours now.  I am lucky to live in an area that did not lose hydro (fingers crossed that it remains).  Hope everyone stays safe and will be able to enjoy a wonderful holiday season.

I was bidding on an item on eBay and after checking the shipping fees missed the 'new' import fees now being charged if the seller is opting into the Global Shipping Program.  I had purchased many items on eBay sold under bear making supplies and artists teddy bears.  At no time have I paid import fees/Canadian customs and taxes on items purchased. After winning the item and seeing the new import fees added to the invoice I contacted the seller about this --- after many emails she was able to cancel the original listing and relist the item after opting out of the Global Shipping Program.
I called eBay and complained about this unfair new fee to no avail.
As a result, if you are a Canadian buyer please look very closely at the listing to see if import fees have been added; if you are a US seller it may be why your sales to Canadian's have been reduced especially if you have signed up for the Global Shipping Program.

I have just completed a 'round-the-world' trip.   Always wanted to do, now I have.

Enjoyed visiting Sandra in New Zealand; then onto York to visit Ali; Stopping in New Jersey to visit Pat; then onto visit Sue Ann in Dallas; and finally stopping off in Point Pelee before home to Toronto.   
A whirlwind trip with lots of jet lag.  However, that is what is so 'fun' about travelling.

Thanks everyone for making my 'round-the-world' trip a once in a lifetime trip.

My first passion (besides collecting teddy bears) is travelling ... especially when you can visit teddy bear shows and shops.  Now I am travelling without leaving my home.    Visit to Portugal (thank you Susan); Dallas (thank you Sue Ann); New Jersey (thank you Pat) and finally Point Pelee National Park (thank you Jeremy).

Cannot wait until the postman delivers tomorrow's mail!!!
