Oh, no drinks for me! I do need to make myself some hot tea though. Have you ever tried warm milk, fresh garlic, butter and honey? My fiancee swears by it when he's sick and as awful as it sounds, it actually tastes good. I think it works too!
Okay. I have a nice recycled gift box that holds my nicely folded, recycled tissue paper!
Red is a nice color, Aleta! I used to try every red under the sun on my hair! It's naturally in the red family anyway so it wasn't too drastic.
I studied grapic design as well. I worked for a newspaper for a few years as a designer, but it wasn't too high tech. I'm a little overwhelmed with it all now.
Oh, no, Amelia! I hope your little one will be okay and the vitamins too!
Thanks! Merry Christmas to you as well. I hope the health issues you mentioned aren't too serious and won't be an issue for too long.
It's not fair that I'm sick. I just recovered from a week-long cold. I only had about 3 days in between.
Shocked? That's hard to believe, Aleta! Your studio is so gorgeous!
I'm glad I didn't get my cold cooties before I sent out my Christmas cards!
Nope! I love to watch my mom's face when she sees someone crumple up the tissue after unwrapping a gift! It's like she's watching a horror flick!
It's been a while since I've ribbon-wrapped, but it's pretty Christmas ribbon in different colors woven all around the box. And the rule is that the recipient has to unwrap it one ribbon at a time!
My daughter and I caught colds yesterday too. I was here earlier and there were quite a few sickies.
Oh, that's okay Patty! I reuse bags all the time. I think it's such a shame to throw away a beautiful box or bag.
Merry Christmas, Celena!
I'm finished shopping too, except for Daniel. I have no idea what to get him!
I used to be a fancy wrapper, but now that I have a bazillion presents to wrap they are pretty boring! Have you ever ribbon-wrapped? I've done that only a few times as it takes forever, but it also takes the recipient forever to unwrap!
The party is still going strong, I see!
How cute! I have an 11-year old seal-point himi. Sure does look like your chocolate point. Wonder if it's the same.
It's only 4:15 p.m. here, so I guess I better practice a little more!
Makes sense, Sarah, but doesn't sound fun.
QUESTION:
What GOOD thing happened in your life this year that stands out above the rest?
I got knocked up just as planned! Woo hoo! Only 3 1/2 months to go!
If Natalia is feeling better, she's going to Grandma's tomorrow so I can finish up my wrapping. I try to do a little while she's napping, but I get so nervous that she's gonna catch me! She is super quiet and sneaky when she wakes up!
I think it was her 2nd Christmas that she found the present stash. By the time I found her, she was working on unwrapping her 6th gift!
I've never had duck either.
Oh, that's no good, Gemma. I have a sick little one too. She's napping right now though. We both caught a cold yesterday.
I'll spend Christmas morning at home with Daniel and Natalia, then off to my mom's around noon. We'll have big crowd there for an early dinner, then we play games and socialize til late evening.
Yay, I made it to the party!
More wonderful ornaments! Each and every one has been truly wonderful. Yep, I'm ready for next year's ornament swap. Do you think we could do Christmas in July too?
