Duncan is a shy sort of Tiger, but on the plus side, he is a very good hugger. Duncan is 14" long with a 9" tail. He is created out of the highest quality Belgium faux fur. His features are needle sculptured (no felting was used) and he has a hand colored, realistic Tiger coat. His glass eyes are set in handmade eye sockets. His nose is sculptured out of ultra-suede. Duncan's paws are sculptured out of black leather and are soft like a real Tiger's paws. His head is jointed and his front legs are softly armatured enabling him to give hugs. Duncan's back legs are loosely jointed so they can hang like a real cat's legs when he is lifted. He is stuffed with polyfil and has carefully placed bead socks to add weight in the right places and to give him a natural cat feel.
Duncan is up for adoption on Bear Pile:

SueAnn, Cool Where can we get the calendar?
He's real all right! Grouchy kitty. I'm having a problem with that right now. I've remade a cat head twice. The second time I used a completely new head pattern. He always comes out grouchy! I finally got him to look just serious This art stuff is hard! I've never had this problem before and it worries me and takes the fun out of creating.

Peter, cute I think he might be an African Wild Cat. They are small but very fierce as they get older! I guess that's their defense with their small size?

Ohhh! What a sweet start to the day
Look at those dusty feet. This is a cat-about-town

Ohhhh! I still want a red Tiger kitten
OH! I'm going to borrow this for my next cat A red velvet hood with a red cape. Love it
Michelle,
I started my bear path working for Jim Henson toys, North American Bear Co., Matchbox/Pee Wee Herman soft toys and a few other toy companies. All the faux fur that you would purchase is flame proof. Everything that has been said about joints and features is what would be required. It really is not that scary Please feel free to ask me any questions that you may have. I still use many of the safety features I had used when I designed for children. It's not difficult, just a little different.

I created this young Tiger after a friend sent me a series of photos of the Siberian Tiger. He is more serious and thoughtful than most of my young cats. I'm offering him through my Cat Gazette newsletter.
Wow! I've just finished creating one of these! My Tawny Tiger -
Faster than a speeding bullet! Up, Up, and Away!
I love the cute nose
I really want to do at least one brick & mortar show this year. Almost all the shows I have attended in the past have been back East (USA). But now the airfares are very high this year; example, I can't find an airfare under $450 for a Seattle-Washington D.C. flight/plus I would have to take the shuttle to the hotel. Then I would have to pay to ship everything to the hotel also much more expensive since the USPS rates have gone up. Does anyone have a suggestion for a West Coast Show? At least the airfare would be more reasonable. How is everybody handling the costs of shows? I would even be satisfied if I could call it even, but that means I would need to make at least $1,800-$2,000 in sales for an East Coast show. Sad, because I really love meeting collectors and fellow artists and we always have a great time at the shows. Plus, the show organizers work so hard to keep the shows going and I feel bad that I can't attend the 3-4 shows that I used to attend in past years. Any ideas
And if you see videos of a cheetah running you'll notice that their heads stay level and steady, they move that precisely.
I used to have a cat that used to like sitting on my head and shoulders. Of course he was not this large! I think it's true, they want to be at your eye level
OHhhh! Look at that cute belly
Thank you,Christina, Betty, Thelma, Helen and tommie The show starts TODAY 4:00 pm eastern time USA. Can't wait, I really want to see what all the artists are up to; 75 artists with 5-10 pieces each!
