Jane, you crack me up ! ! !    When we were little, my mom used to mix a little vinegar in the rinse water when she washed our hair to get all the shampoo out.  We had really shiny soft hair so maybe you're on to something.

Congratulations Heather ! ! !    I'm so happy for you.  I love what Tami said, soooo true.   My two girls (27 & 22)  are the lights of my life.  I've loved every stage of their lives including their adulthood.  You'll see.

Aleta,  Lilliana is most beautiful.  I woulda' snatched her up if I'd seen her first.

Paula, what a sweetie your Stuart is ! ! !   Your room is lovely.  I could spend hours and hours in there.  He might miss you, you'll have to remember to come out every now and then.

Tami, you're soooo organized.  I love the color of your room too. 

I have a small bedroom for my sewing room now,  but we have a 400 sq ft room to be finished for my studio/exercise room/computer station room.  I can't wait.  Should happen this summer.

I'm so sorry Cheryl.  Some miserable people aren't happy unless they are making other people miserable.  I've had my share of them too.  I don't usually  advocate revenge but the best revenge is living well.  So try not to let it get you down.

Thanks everyone ! ! !    I'm floating here.  Only thing is Tracy is in Nashville and I'm in California, a 5 hour plane ride away.  That just won't do.  I'm going to be checking homes in Nashville on realtor.com.

Huge news . . . for me anyway.  I just got a call from Tracy (my daughter who lives in Nashville) and

SHE'S GOING TO HAVE A BABY ! ! ! ! ! 

You can probably tell this will be my first grandchild.  The baby will be due on Christmas day.  I'm so excited . . . I'm going to be a Nonna.

Oh my, Judi.  42 bears on your bed ! ! !   Hubby goes to bed about 2 hours before I do and he would never take 42 bears off the bed to get into it.  He would probably sleep with them.

I don't have that many but I bought an adorable little tattered teddy from Sonya Shaw this weekend at the Nevada City show and swapped one of my bears for her adorable bunny.  Then I have 3 Zucker Bears from Barbara Sixby, one from Jodi Falk, one from Pearl Hamilton and another mohair artist bunny and a bear I bought in the 80's at a bear show (don't remember the artists).  That's it but I hope to start building my collection.

Wow, $40,000 per bear ! ! !   I can believe that.  The homes in this area range from $2,000,000 up to over $10,000,000.  They can probably afford them.  I'd love to see the website of the artist.  Hope you find it.

Today my husband, Dave, and I drove up to Tahoe for lunch and I found these bears hanging around at this quaint lodge.  Don't they look real ??

I'm glad your hic-cups are gone Daphne.  I was a respiratory therapist for 10 years (20 years ago).  One night a family of 6 brought their grandfather in the emergency room because he had had hiccups for a week and they were all driving to Disneyland (8 hour trip) together the next morning and they didn't want to listen to his hiccups for 8 hours in the car.  The doc called me in to take care of it.  What he instructed me to do was take a suction tube, stick it down his throat and tickle his uvula.  Believe it or not, it worked.  But then I don't expect you would have a suction tube laying around anywhere.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww ! ! !   I want one.   They're looking more like doggies than hamsters now.  They grow up so fast, don't they.

Perfect timing, Daphne.  I'm going to go set up for my first show today ! !   The Nevada City show will be Fri, Sat & Sun.  I'm writing all these suggestions on my list.

What a sweet little girlie you have there, Jodi.  Yes, it's been done before, but we love to share our four-legged babies so  . . . this is Bear, who I got from Animal Control Shelter last summer, He's almost 6 years old and a Corgi/Pomeranian mix.  Then there's Buster, my Boston Terrier who is also 6.  We've had him since he was 1. (He's giving Paige a good sloppy kiss for her 21st birthday.)

Sandi,  you lucky duck, you.  JJ looks like he is much loved.
