Awww! So cute!
Playful and thoughtful. What else could we want in a bear?
Becky
Oh, Tyler is lovely!
I love his inset muzzle and beautiful nose, and the mohair is really well-suited for your pattern. Nice work!

What a terrific - non-ugly! - bear you've made from that old coat!
I'm not an expert on the site etiquette, but this seems to be a good place to post our photos. With only a few of us participating, it should work out just fine, I'd think.

Both of these guys are beautiful! I'm soooo impressed by your airbrushed trout!

A very creative design for the head/muzzle! It gives the bear a unique and charming facial expression.

OK -- I have a plan for an old wool baby blanket. It took some thinking to decide how to incorporate the very pretty satin binding, but I'm nearly ready to cut.
If anyone with experience sewing blanket fabric on a sewing machine would like to add a tip, I'd be grateful. It's not particularly thick fabric, but it's not the woven stuff I'm used to. It's been washed and has a semi-felted texture now.
Thanks,
Becky
(tee hee) Tami -- this one looks as if he could stumble into all sorts of interesting things. And those shoes are priceless!
Becky
What a wonderful scene you've created! I especially like those two sea horses and the docile expression on their faces.
Becky
I really like the shapes of your bears, Susan. They seem to "flow" down from the head, and the wavy mohair goes along with that to create a wonderful effect.

The butterfly cart is such a great idea, Brenda! Beautifully painted, too.

What a great idea, Joanne! I can imagine how time-consuming it must be to add mohair strand by strand, but the result is gorgeous. (And if we were worried about what is time-consuming, making bears by hand would definitely be the wrong activity:)
Douglas is a little gem.

Thank you, Manuela, and congratulations on the anniversary! The little pig looks like a lot of fun.

(laughing at Peter's question:)
Thank you everyone for your kind words about Henry. This was my first tipped mohair bear, but not my last! It was especially fun to do the trimming of the face and muzzle and get different color effects.
I'm so glad that you like him:)
Becky
Oh, my, Joanne! Of your bears that I've seen, Tusyian is my runaway favorite. There is something just sublime about him -- maybe in the combination of the desert-flower details and his trusting expression. He just seems to be the right bear in the right place and time:) Lovely!

This is Henry, who was claimed and named by my husband. He's 14" tall and made from Helmbold tipped mohair. I knitted a little scarf for him. (Bears always have to think about the coming winter:)
