Hiya!
I think I know what you are referring to. I've seen it in Hobbycraft here in the UK - do you have one near you? Its basically felt with a slight pile to it - very reasonably priced I think, and quite simple to use. If you don't have a Hobbycraft near you, and are still having problems, then let me know and I can get you some from my nearest Hobbycraft. I think I've got some at home somewhere, so I can try and find it (which might take a while!!!) and photograph it to show you if this helps? (It will have to wait until after Hugglets tomorrow though I'm afraid!).
Hope this helps.
Hugs

I've got a stall for the first time on Sunday - so all come and say hello to me there. I'll be in Hall 5 with all the other newbies (including a couple of people from here I think), and I will HOPEFULLY be really busy  (I can hope!!!! )
Hope to see lots of you there - must go and carry on preparing!!
Hugs,
Samantha

Looks fantastic!
I often hold a bears's head upside down - which shows up anything thats not symmetrical.
Keep posting pictures - I'm really enjoying watching this come together!!!
Oh no!
Am I right in thinking the 'British Bear Collection' is now housed at Wokey hole? Its a fantastic collection, which I went to see a couple of times when it was housed at Banwell Castle - it was all kept behind glass there though. What a shame!
I would say go ahead. It is really refreshing to occasionally try something a bit different - a slightly different design may even attract some new collectors. Go with what your creative eye tells you would look best!!
Look forward to seeing the final result!!

...when I stopped trying to make lots of bears for a fair, but focussed on making a few good ones. Quality not quantity!!
Also when I started making what I wanted to make, rather than what I thought people wanted to see.
Great question!!
What a lovely story!! You must be so pleased to hear that one of your bears made the couple's wedding anniversary so special - and what a romantic way to introduce Parker - most men I know wouldn't want to be sat in a restaurant with an extra chair for a bear!!!! How sweet!
Wow! What a story!
Lets hope they find the person responsible.
Imagine now having to re-build your life after all those years! The reunion between Natascha and her family must have been amazing!
I agree - its nice to think that miracles can happen
Thanks for sharing!
Hugs,
Samantha.
