Aw, thanks so much ladies. I appreciate your comments.

Marlys

Very cute. You have a mini assembly line going there. I'm sure your collegues will be thrilled.

Marlys

MWAnnie2.jpgI wanted to share of photo of Annie who was adopted during the Oh BearZ Show on Saturday. She's packed and ready to travel to her new home in Australia.

Marlys

Look at those ears. He's adorable. Sarah your pups are adorable too.

Marlys

You must have spent a great deal of time making these. Yes, I can imagine how happy your co-workers were to receive these little treasures. You have lucky collegues. bear_wub  bear_wub  bear_wub

Marlys

So very cute, cute, cute! Just adorable.

Marlys

Krista, just so you know, Bid4Bears is for bears and friends so other soft sculpture animals are welcome. It probably is mostly bears, but there have been dogs, cats, mice, horses, dragons, dolls and probably more than I can think of now.

Marlys

Wow oh Wow, Wendy, you are fast. I better get going.

Marlys

Sandra, that's a really good idea. There was a discussion yesterday during the Oh BearZ show about advertising. What do you require? Will you make up the ad with our photos or do we have to send it to you in a completed ad?

Marlys

Same with me, Wendy. I know what I am looking for is there someplace, but I can't always bring it up with the keyword or  author. I always thought I was just doing it wrong. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

Marlys

Simply adorable. Love her little short skirt.

Marlys

Very cute indeed. Looks like the guy make it specially for your bears.

Oh-Bearz-Sneak-Peek.jpgI'm kind of late coming to the party, but here's my sneak peek for the Oh Bearz Online Show this weekend.

Marlys

Definitely an adorable little girl with that bow in her hair though I do agree with Paula that she has a bit of a devilish expression.

Marlys

She's beautiful. You always do such wonderful things with your color combinations.

Thanks to everyone's good wishes on my birthday, and Jane, for her cute card. But today is a sad day for me.  We had to let of Scottie boy, Harley, pass on this morning. He was just a month short of his 11th birthday and he was the baby of the four Scotties we had all at the same time. Hugo passed 4 years ago, and you may remember that we lost Tulie and Emma just a couple weeks apart last Christmas.

This poor baby was always a puppy at heart but we noticed a decline after the girls passed...one reason we got Maisie, who is 10 months now, was to give him a companion. He was in late stages of liver and kidney failure and his pancreas was badly damaged because of his meds.

Poor Maisie is just so subdued today. She's usually a little tornado but she's spent most of the day in her crate.

Thanks everyone for being here4 to talk to.

Marlys

Aleta, I hope it's nothing serious. Take care.

Marlys

We love you too, Marlys.  And would continue to do so, even if one day, you acted like an insensitive horse's ass.

Mwaa!

Thanks, Shelli, and no doubt I might do that some day but Ill try hard not to.

Ellen, I do remember the incident and how awful you felt. Years ago, I was deleted from a Scottie forum for something I said that offended the forum owner. I felt awful because I would never intentionally hurt anyone.  It's understandable for one to pull back when hurt but I'm so glad you are back. When we lose one of us for hurt feelings, we all lose a little bit.

Marlys

How sweet! I'm sure she will be the best Wise Man-dressed little girl ever. bear_wub  bear_wub  bear_wub

First off, it is not my intention to upset anyone by my post. And this is my third start trying to say nothing that people would read differently that I intend.

I read the first couple pages of comments on the topic this refers to and then just thought it best not to comment or read any further. I love everyone here and I'm grateful for the friends I've made, the support given to me, the the tips and techniques shared by very generous artists, and the diversity and world-wide locations of the group. I think all those things help us learn and grow.

I don't know what things were said that hurt Dilu's and Pam's feelings but I always hate to see someone feeling attacked or feeling shut out because they believe differently than we do. Everyone can choose their friends on the basis of color, religion, political ideaology, many other things, but those seem much less important that the character of the person.

Think back to before that post...about how much you loved the person's bears, thought they were kind for offering ideas and support, someone you'd really like to be friends with if you lived nearer to each other. We can't be all in-person friends because we are from so many different places, but TT offers us the opportunity to know each other almost as if distance doesn't separate us. Wd learn new things, share sadness and excitement just as we would with in-person friends.

I love TT and I'm grateful for all of you.

Marlys

I noticed that, too, Aleta, but can't answer your question. Maybe the topic hadn't been used for a while...?? But your sweet bears surely wouldn't be excluded.
