Thanks for the head's up. Where there's a will (to steal) they will find a way.
Thank you, everyone, for checking out my new website. I always get a little excited when I learn how to do something new. It was fun.
I just finished my web page using Net Object Fusion. It was free software I received when I signed up with 1 & 1 web hosting. They also sent PhotoImpact by ULead. There was a bit of a learning curve with Net Object Fusion but since I've never done a web page before that was to be expected. Once I got the hang of it, it went pretty quickly and easily. It has an html view that you can also edit. I love Photo Impact the photo and graphic editing software. It came with Wise FTP also and a GIF animator program. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. The 1&1 web hosting is only $4.99 per month. Pretty good deal, I think.
Please check it out and let me know what you think. Any typos? Download too slowly?
Also, if anyone would like to exchange links, please let me know. I have a banner too ! ! !
Thank you everyone. I just love it too. The bear in the logo is a portrait of my bear, Lisette. Penny caught her likeness pretty well, don't you think.?
Tami, you are a peach for posting these wonderful pictures every day ! ! ! I think I speak for everyone when I say how much they are enjoyed. Thank you ! ! !
You go girl. Can't wait to see this little panda guy (or girl).
Hello everyone . . . well here it is . . . the new Swan Valley Bears logo and avatar Penny made for me. I'm so excited, I just love it.
But remember . . . it has my new website address that is not up and running yet. I'm still on the temporary freewebs one. I'm working like crazy to get the swanvalleybears.com site up and running. I worked on it about 6 hours yesterday. I need probably another 6 to get it ready. Whew.
Oh so cute, Laura. They make a handsome couple.
Well, I think he is just wonderful. Your eye color and shading color choices are just perfect for the green fur. Your mom will surely love him to pieces. My mom has a ton of my bears too. I just gave her one before we left on our trip (we're in Nashville for 2 weeks) because whe was so sweet to dog-sit my two doggies.
What a sweet bear ! ! ! Your friend must just love him.
I downloaded 7 on hubby's computer and couldn't even get on line. To change back to 6, remove 7 in "add/remove programs". It will automatically revert to 6.
OK here are some of mine:
Big trucks going very slowly and don't pull over to let people pass even though there are many good spots where they could have pulled over. The law in California is that if there are 6 cars piled up behind you, you are to pull over to let them pass. They don't.
When my husband always waits until the last minute to get into the correct lane to exit, then gripes when people won't let him squeeze in.
Terrible garlic breath. Yuck. I hate it when someone is standing in line next to me in the store stinking like garlic. I have very sensitive sense of smell. I have to move to another line or throw up.
Negative people.
People who cut in line. (queue, some people call it.)
When the sign says "slower traffic stay to the right" for a passing lane and they don't so you can't pass or you have to pass them on the right.
Those voice activated phone systems that have a recording that always say "I'm sorry, I don't understand what you said." You never get to where you want to be with those systems.
When you say "thank you" and someone (usually kids) answer "no problem" instead of "your welcome".
It's good ! ! ! ! I like it.
Shelli, your Sandman is truly a work of art ! ! ! Every detail delights.
I think he is definately a he. You know, they say men who wear pink are secure with their masculinity, right? He looks like a confident little bear.
Oh, such great bears ! ! ! I love them all. OK, my first favorite is Lisette, but my second favorite isn't a bear at all, but the needlefelted snowman I made, does he count?.
Yes, cute ! ! ! I like Tami's idea of Gollybear. Good one, Tami.
Thank you everyone and thank you for looking ! ! !
Amazing, Shelli, I love your doll ! ! ! Make more ! ! !
Shelli, where can we see your dolls. The one in your avatar looks amazing. What are they made of? I wanna see.
I've thought of that too, Aleta. It's not very welcoming and doesn't encourage us to get to know the newbies either. And, Chrissie, you're right, there's always something new and with new people on all the time, a new thread might reveal good tips.
Julia, I love both of them. That face on the brown bear melts my heart.
I am so extited and honored to have been chosen for as the artist of the month on Edinburgh's forum.
