This is the definition of a toy in the gov safety regulation site:
"Toys are products designed or intended (whether or not exclusively) for use in play by children under 14 years old. "

As our bears are designed for collectors you just need to make sure that your bears are labeled as not suitable for children under 14 years of age. I also have it written on every page of my website so that there can't be any doubt.

Hi all,

I have been up and running selling my bears for just a few months now but the dreaded self assesment tax is due and so i am doing this for the first time.

I am assuming it is different in each country and i trade in the UK but does anyone have any tips on how to make things easier? I don't ask a great deal for my bears and so i cannot afford an accountant, I am afraid of making a mess of things and getting fined or something!

Any tips at all would be appreciated

Yes i am feeling a lot better thank you. I have a walking stick to get around at the moment which feels a bit weird, but i get my stitches out next Friday.

I just got back from the hospital where i had to have stitches in my leg from a fall today and i have bruised my knee so badly it is the worst pain i have ever felt ouchy. I am not looking forward to climbing the stairs to bed tonight since i cant bend my knee.

Hi all, i wanted to show you Amethyst. I have a love of both crystals and bears and wanted to combine the two. She is made out of amethyst coloured mohair and has a basket with her own amethyst in it. Hope you like her :)

I always hand sew every head so that i can make sure as i go along that it is sitting right. Perhaps if you hand sew a few it may show whats happening when you do it by machine?

This is one of the things i dread about ebay. I have been in the postion where people have not paid, and also in the position where i have paid for something and weeks later they still havent sent it to me. I have found that on most occasions, if my usual friendly emails are all being ignored (i hate conflict) I write to them with one last chance letting them know politely that if they have not paid/sent the item by a certain day then i will be starting action with ebay about the issue to resolve it. Funny enough that usually gets a response with my payment/item shortly after.

Not sure why people would bid on something they dont want to pay for, it seems so odd to me, and it certainly is stressful, i hope yours is sorted out soon.
