Diane, its is really interesting to hear all the different expressions from around the world, on TTalk.  Decals are basically a "water slide" picture.  They come on a transparent backing.  When you soak them in warm water, you can "slide" the decal off of the paper and put it where you want.  Once it dries, it sticks to the surface it was attached to.  Hope I'm making sense. LOL!

                                                Hugs,

                                                Brenda

Thanks Brenda,
Hope your throat is still getting better.
I think we just call decals transfers.I wonder why Ilong for these old things???I must be at that weird age!!!!

Diane, I don't know if this is the same bunny or not. It is on my old wooden table I still have from when I was child -about 30 years ago- o.k. 35 years ago  bear_whistle    I hope this helps.    Or try the link  http://cgi.ebay.com/THE-CUTEST-VINTAGE- … dZViewItem    for another bunny decal pic on ebay.

I have a real hanckering to make a rabbit like the ones we used to have stuck on our cots.I don't know if it was just a British thing or not.My cot had big stickers of pink and blue animals on it.Everyone had the same kind.I once saw them for sale in an old shop about 30 years ago.I wonder if they can be bought still.I cannot find them on ebay which is surprising.I have a notion to try and reproduce one of the lambs or bunnies depicted.Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi Daphne,
I have four dogs two rescues and two headstrong pointers.Doggy problems can be overwhelming.I have followed the dog listener ways and now have a happy well behaved pack with me as leader and no problems whatsoever.Buy the dog listener and stick to it to the last letter. It si by Jan Fennel .She is very like your Cesar Romero. My problems went almost over night and we are all so happy now.
The main rules are hard to stick to till we all realise how wrong we have been and that their happy is so different to ours.Good luck

I am still eating too much!!but have stepped up the running and weights.I am very fit and pretty much toned apart from my bum,but or ass depending on what continent you are on(I have my own one and carry it behind me).If I could just stop eating too much I would have cracked it.
As Scarlet said Tomorrow is another day.

I watched an interesting programme about eating the other day.It was a profile of a thin person. On the whole slim or thin people tend to eat what they want when they want but never feel the need to eat when they are no hungry. That is the key I think.Deprivation never works.I should have Barbies figure for the amount of excercise I get (I am offensively healthy with it though so we don't get everything).i JUST NEED TO STOP MUNCHING FOR GREED.

We get snow every year and are regularly cut off with no power.Today I could not get out till the snow plough arived. It was a hairy drive with huge snow drifts to pick up my daughter. The wind s blowing so hard the snow seems to be getting through cracks in the door and we have a snowy hall!!I still love it though.I just wish it was like this at christmas time instead of spring!!!All the wee daffy's are frosted over.

I've been full time bearmaking for almost ten years now.I started when I seperated from my daughters father.I decided if she was going to have one parent I would be a very good one and stay home.We have had scary times when we were very poor.We get no financial help from my ex and it has been hard going a lot of the time.I asked her recentley if she felt like she had missed out on holidays etc but she says she looks back on a very happy childhood so it has been worthwhile.I work at least eight hours a day mostly six days a week and try to have some time off at the weekend. In the summer I get up at 4.30 so I can fit it all in.
I say God bless America a lot as the lovely citizens from the u.s have paid the mortgage for many years with some help from Canada ,Australia,France ,Japan,Denmark,Ireland and lastly and leastly (if thats a word) Britain.
I still enjoy it and have to say TT has helped keep me going for the short time I have been a member.
I think it would be a lot easier if there was still  a husband and a second income to take the pressure off.Maybe I will meet a mad hatter of my own haha. Not that I am looking I think I am set in my ways and do not mind being alone a lot.Maybe one day though..
I am very lucky to do something I love and be able to live in the country with all my dogs .

Keep up the good work Holl.Everyone is rooting for you.Positive thinking from all over the world!!!

marion.jpgLook at my wee bear Marvin.Marion sent me him for my birthday.I am so touched.I love him to bits.I keep picking him up!!!
He is only six inches tall which is small for one of Marions bears.I have always liked her bears in photo's but up close they are even cuter. He is so beautifully made too.
I hope this picture cheers everyone up amidst all the sadness on the board. He certainly made my day.
