Wonderful as always xx
Love it Carol -Are you at Hugglets?
When I was making this bear I was watching Emily Bronte's Wutherine Heights . I love all the sisters books and have read them over and over again -also seen the films many times .I called the bear Hareton as he does suit the character by looks in the book -Heathcliff would have also been a good name but I didn't think he was dark and brooding enough. I hope you like him -I have hand sculpted his porcelain face and given him a sad expression. His fur is a wonderful wind sweeped looking mohair which is gold with a dark brown tip.
I have needle sculpted his paws and needle felted details in black,
Hope you will like him as I really enjoyed creating him.xx

Elizabeth is made from beautiful German long mohair in white , royal blue and red -gorgeous fur and very soft.I have embroidered her nose in red and navy and backed her beautiful blue glass eyes with navy felt. Her paw pads are red and blue felt and she is cotter pin jointed.

Thabo is up for adoption on bearpile -he is one of my old loved series and made from hand dyed mohair
Thanks Carol -he is a sad looking clown isn't he -I have a thing about eyes -My late lovely dogs eyes were always very sad looking and appealing and I tend to make my bears with this expression .
I don't make large bears very often but Rudolf is one big feller -he has a porcelain face and is made from two thick mohairs -I love using my embroidery machine and have gone to town with his large silk collar with I have backed with red silk to match his nose. Take a peek at him on bearpile .
Thanks Denise -I had trouble with this as it would not load up properly -Had it put in jobears instead of Jo bears and then it worked -Had help from the organiser and we got to the root of the trouble then. Thanks for bringing my attention to it .xx
Thank you Pauline x
