I'm on Google+ too, if you want to add me to your circle:
I'm Natascha Sabo
Thank you for sharing those wonderful pictures.
I would love to visit the NABC one day!
Hmm, I tried to vote and it said I'd already voted! That would have been going some, I've been on holiday for 2 weeks, and unless my flatmate's suddenly veered away from his heavy metal music to embrace some bear lovin', I have no idea what's gone wrong!
This happens when you have voted last year. Just clean out you cookies and it should work.
By the way, there are sooo many great entries, it was really hard to choose,
Thank you everybody who is doing my votes for me.
And Peter, you are not the only one who feels a little bit silly now....
So that is the reason why the number of votes doesn't go up after I voted....
I was already wondering!
So please, everybody from the US, could you do the voting for us?
Please, don't forget my three times a day!!!!!
I bookmarked the page and now I'm voting at least three times a day.
If everybody here could do this, we should be able to win this!
He is very, very cute
Just voted, good luck!
Congratulations!!!! Your little dragon is soo sweet, he really deserves his award!
Correct me, if I'm wrong, but as far as I know the editor of Australian Bear Creations is a fellow artist, so of course she knows what she is writing about.
Maybe it would help the US-magazines to hire more artists to write for them and as judges for the competitions?
I've been following this thread for a few days and find it really intersting.
And now I have to admit: I entered in one of the categories with only four nominations, but didn't receive a nomination,so I guess my entry didn't meet the minimum-standard for a GTA-nomination.
And yes, I am dissapointed, exspecially as this bear did extremely well in other competitions: It was 2nd in the Euro-Teddy-Award (miniature undressed) and won 1st place in the British Bear Artist Award (International Artist).
This makes me really wonder what they expect at the Golden Teddies?
Anyway, I don't think that I will enter again because my bears are definitely too bad for the Golden Teddies.
Congratulations!!
Sammi is really great!
I would like one, too. Unfortunately they are all sooo sweet that I can't decide which one to take
Absolutely Beautíful!
I just listed Purzel on bearpile. He measures 4 inches from nose to tail and is made from dark brown faux fur. For more details just check out his beapile-site:

I just send you a friend request, I'm on as Natascha Sabo.
If you go to the list of my friends you will find many other bear artists, just feel free to use it and send them friend-requests, if you want to.
One more Polyanna here. I, tto, believ the coyote story. Hope has always been so gently with the cubs and Faith even initiates play with her, which she would not do if Hope had injured Jason.
I juts read it in the daily update.
We can only pray that Lily will recover soon.
Or that Hope is such a good sister that she will look after little Faith, if the worst should happen...
Congratulations!!!!!!
Stuttgart would be great!!!!! That's what I wanted for years!!!!
Not only, that I live very close to it, it is also the "birthplace" of the teddybear as the brown bears in the local zoo inspired Richard Steiff to create the very first teddybear!!!
Meanwhile, the zoo has moved to a different location, but whenever I go there I like the idea that "our" brown bears are the closest relatives of the teddy bears.
Not to forget, Stuttgart has a great fair that is easy to reach from the airport, by train and by car. For most big events in Stuttgart, the ticket for the show already includes the fair for public transport to get to and from the fair, something that I really like!!
Maria, these are great news!!!!
First of all, big, big congratulations for your Golden George!!! You've really deserved it.
And yes, Münster is great, simply because it is easier to reach by train!
I guess I'll have to think about exhibiting again
I just listed little Thai on bearpile. He measures 4"/10cm from nose to tail and he is made from a very soft and dense faux fur with black German glass-eyes and an open mouth with modelled teeth and ultra-suedine tongue.
Thai-Shan's legs are both jointed and wired and he has a spine made from wire running from head to tail for multiple posing and playing.
If you want to visit him:

I entered, too, but didn't receive that email you are all talking about so maybe receiving/not receiving that email could be a hint whether someone is nominated or not?
I saw them, too! I'm glad I'm not the only one!
Snowflake is a very playful little polar bear cub, completely handcrafted from a very, very soft white faux fur.
She has an open mouth with FIMO-teeth and ultra-suedine tongue, her lips and nose are stitched, waxed and polished and so are her paw pads.
Snowflake is stuffed with fibrefill and some steelshot in her belly for additional weigh.
Her legs are both jointed and wired and she has a spine made from aluminium-wire running from head to tail for multiple posing.
Snowflake is now available for adoption from bearpile:
