nice moose....aneighbor told me he thinks he saw a moose yesterday on his way to church....guess I need to keep a sharp lookout for it..... if I see it, hopefully I will have the camera with me to get a pic to post!

I would love to post a picture of my hug, but they live in the bedroom which is about to get a make-over, so all have gone into storage until the room is done.....I am not sure hubby will let the bears back, he told me to get rid of some, which I have, but how do you thin out a hug??????
Ellen
I think you are adorable!
Sorry, I mis-spelled the company I have ordered music boxes from: It is Klockit........they have some neat stuff as well as music boxes.
Ellen
just sent you a PM.
Ellen
I too, love the music box in bears, althought they don't seem to sell well. I do have several music boxes here that I ant to put in bears, but until someone asks for one, I won't........ Anyway, Clockworks has muxic boxes and parts/pieces. Their website has all the fixings, you just need to figure out how all the mechanics work in the bear you have, then get replacements for it..........Good luck!
Ellen
Would there possibly be a picture of the girl with the bear?
it is a gorgeous bear, nice pic, but it is also sad....what happened to the right arm? looks like some fur is missing.....
how cute....and peaceful......
OK, thank you so much Bobbie for posting this picture. I love these hidden games. I printed the picture out larger, and look at it everytime I am at my computer. I am seeing bears all over the place in the pic (David tells me I am a little bit anal about it).....I am up to 25, but I may be imagining some of them. Can't wait to hear how many there truly are................
I may be imagining some, but I am up to 15...................
I found 9 so far......
Pat, I know right where you live. My Great-Grandmother lived in Edison (beofre it was Edison, actually it was Bonhamtown) and my Mom was born there, well, at Raritan arsenal, which is no longer in existence! My Great-Grandmother's place was actually where they built the NJTurnpike, I can remember being there while the road was going in, and going into the woods.........but it is a big city now, amazing that critters stay around!

last night, we had our neighborhood picnic, the last one of the year. I was talking with some folks about my dog who escaped the yard for 9 hours Sunday night during a thunder storm....I think we will lock his doggie door at night from now on. Here are the stories:
Last winter, we had a family of 5 red fox that denned across the street. I saw one fox a few times, didn't know there were 5 of them!
A month or so ago, my neighbor, 2 doors up the street, saw a Panther in his back yard! (New York State says there are no Panthers in the area... but when asked if someone could shoot it, they said "umm, I wouldn't do that")
This past week, another neighbor was out riding his bicycle, about 2 miles from the house, when a bear came out of the woods. Jay saw the bear out of the corner of his eye, the bear did not see him, until the bear's nose brushed Jay's leg, then he turned tail and went back into the woods.
I want to see these wild critters.......................and I want to keep the dog safe.....................all I have is a woodchuck living under my deck.

My Baby-Safe line has no joints and embroidered eyes/noses. My tags say to remove the ribbon for children under age 3. I also have been making the baby-safe critters from Fleece, but do also use the fur.
Ellen
sent you a PM.....would love to see Goofy!
ummmm, Mom, I think I need a littile help.
what is it?
I'm not sure.
Try it.
No, You try it
I don't know......
It is very frustrating, Deb when the head falls off the baby. Had that happen a few times. Don't know if al RC cheapters offer the Pet firslt Aid, it took me 10 years to get it started here at my chapter!
I want all 3.....the slippers to drive my dog crazy and the bunny to snuggle...................
Hi all, I teach classes for the American Red Cross. This past week, I taught a different class, and if you don't know about it, but love dogs or cats, and have one, two or more as part of your family, you may want to check this out. The ARC has a course for Dog First Aid, Cat First Aid and a combined course for Dog and Cat firlst Aid. It was a fun and interesting class. Feedback was that the course was excellent. People enjoyed it, learned osme new things and got to talk about their friends. I did just the Dog First Aid with 8 people. The class says it can be done in 2 1/2 hours, but I will plan the next one for 3.....people enjoy talking about their friends, cats or dogs. I am hoping this will be a regular offering from my chapter office...............
Ellen
How big is the bear? I just sent you and email
Ellen
oh, stop kidding around!
I have used fur from Beary Cheap. I like their stuff............
that's about the way I feel today.......................
