Here is Dona Ana (Lady Ana in english) she is the little bear i have made Cyndee in the swap.

A big thankyou once again for your wishes, we have found somewhere to live which is a lovely portuguese house and we are meeting the landlord next tuesday to sort details and sign papers so hopefully this will be our new home. we will be taking 2 of the dogs with us and the other 2 which are total free spirts and disappear alday lol will be here on the land to watch over our storage. also on the upside we have a few enquires about people putting a caravan on our land to live  in and pay us rent, which is great, and we have a few people interested in buying the house and moving it to new location.
so we are staying positive and looking forward to our new adventure, it is only a house and we can make a home anywhere. we are going to give ourselves a year break before we start to think of what we are going to do i.e sell the land, buy a place etc.

i sent the bear to Cyndee who is poorly, so i hope her little bear arrives safely and brings a big smile to her face.
I am putting an image here for you to see, the bear is about 6 inches and made of curly mohair, she has a bright summer hat and parosol with a pretty necklace (which isnt on these pics as i added it after woulds). Her name is Dona Ana which in portuguese is Lady Ana and is the name of one of the beaches near to where i live.

i really hope Cyndee likes her, she was made with love for a new friend.

i put them on mine i use a very soft suede and glue and tuck around eye and i also felt around them which is easy. just roll a thin piece of wool felt in sausage then start felting around the eye, if you need to add more then roll again until you are happy with the effect.

I am sending Cyndee's little bear to her tomorrow, i know she is poorly again at the moment and i hope the little bear will give her, love and hugs and lots of strength, from a friend.
The little bear is called Dona Ana (means Lady Dona) and it is the name of a small beautiful beach near where i live so a Summer Bear. I really hope it makes her feel better.

Well thankyou so much for all your thoughts and wishes it is so greatly received.

i to am a believer in everything for a reason and just hoping it raises its head soon.
we have tried all legal ways to sort this but they are issuing orders to lots more houses in the western Algarve i think the local president is still leaving as a communist and likes being a dictator.

we have thought about moving but really wouldn't know where to go, it is a beautiful place and we have work luckly at the moment which is more than some as the country is in difficuities at the moment.

anyway we will find something and keep our furry babies with us, once again i am so overwelmed by all your support and that in itself means so much ... a problem shared blah blah.

Hi Guys

i knew this was the place to come just to air my angry views well here goes.

I am english living in Portugal, an amazing beautiful place where i feel i am at home. living here is not easy sometimes. we have lived here for 3 1/2 years and have bought our land and built our eco wooden home but here in this part of the Algarve the president doesnt like wooden houses. anyway a long story short after a long fight heartache and tears (yes we have tried every avenue) we have got to take our house down within 60days so the deadline is 25th July, this makes us homeless so we are now trying hard to find a place to rent and leave our lovely home, and having 4 dogs is making things difficult when it comes to renting.
i think my husband and i are very open minded and understand you live by the countries rules but sometimes it all doesn't make sense especially when you do everything legally, pay tax and social secruity you would think you have some rights but no not here. we have many portuguese friends that are totally upset for us and cant believe what has happen.

also last month we paid a fine on the house and my car was arrested and we had to get it out of the country in 10 days (it was english plates) and we had no proof that we have driven it out of the country in the last 6 months so they said tough it must go. so carless, homeless .......

but the one thing they cant take is the amazing love my husband and i have for each other that keeps us strong and hope to find a new home very soon.

thanks guys i feel better now and hope to get back to bears very soon when we are settled

excellent job i actually have the cuddley toy version of this character, yes i really do and when my son was tiny he would spend many an hour pulling the head and limbs off and sticking them back in the wrong place. i will have to take a picture of my firey for you to see.
