For artists and collectors sponsored by Intercal...your mohair supplier and Johnna's Mohair Store
I would love to see pics of your newborn puppies!
Congrats!
Yes, ProBaer is a really great site! Thank you for this link, Maria
. But I have a question... they say price is per centimeter. But is it 1cm x 1cm or 1cm x 140cm? (because fabric width is 140cm) When I'm buying fabric in normal shop it's just like the second way, but I'm not sure about it here... Do you know which way is proper?
Daphne - yes, I was searching ebay but I think I'm doing it wrong and I can't find anything cheap. One forum member gave me link to one interesting auction so I keep an eye on it.
Indeed, ProBear is nice, really. Thank you very much
What size of scraps are you looking for? like a 9x9 size and does the length of mohair matter or are you just looking for short pile as you make mini bears?
I would love to have sparse mohair!
but generaly it doesn't matter how long it is.. and frankly I like medium or even long size, the bears are so fluffy then ^^ (once I made a 2" dog with long faux fur... he turned out pretty funny!) 9x9 size is good too. It can be even numerous smaller ones, it could be good, too. I'm waiting for offer:)
Debbie, I was trying to find some German mohair in German websites, but it was a fiasco. I don't know the language X) I didn't know Intercal is from German. I should look more carefully there too. But when I was lurking on their site even the smallest pieces was pricey, at last for me  Thanks anyway! :)
Big thanks for Bumblebearies, you are so nice!
yay, that's what I needed!:D I was looking on ebay but I had to search in wrong way, I always ended finding ultra expencive or finished bears ^^' I'm going hunting now, muahaha
Thank you very much Wendy, I knew I could count on people here:)
But my bears aren't that small, the smallest have 2,5" I think. There is one really micro, but didn't make a pict because he's a bit ugly ;P But I'm glad that you like them.
So thanks again

Hi everyone, I'm a bit new here:)
I posted in this case in another topic but a kind girl named Natasha adivised me to write it here. I would like to buy spare leftover pieces of your mohair to make a small bears. Because new mohair is a bit pricey so maybe by this way I could buy some small amounts to make small few-inches bears:) I don't want those pieces you need, only those which cannot be used for the bears you're doing. I hope it's not wrong me to ask about it, if so just tell me and I'll pass^^'
I bought some pieces at Sassy (thanks, Natty:)) but she doesn't have much mohair.
I think not only me could purchase fabric via that way, it could be both way advantage. Don't you think?:)
Oh, and if someone would like to see my bears (made of really fair and cheap synthetics) please visit my flickr page (photos are bad too, but I'm still learning ^^')
I know I'll find here lots of friendly people here, I hope it's ok for me to ask for this:)
Thanks in advance,
Ania
This cutness is killing me... I want to tickle this rabbit now! [tickle tickle] ^^
Thank you very much, Natty! I've already ordered a few pieces of different fabric, I'll try it which is the best! But I think buying spare pieces from people who didn't need it might be good idea not only for me, it's almost like recycling
I thought that maybe it's a topic about it somewere here but I found only this one so... But I think I'll follow your advice and ask on general. Thanks againg :)

Now I want to make a mini goose, too! This forum is so inspiring!
This minis are great
Hi! As you can see I'm totally new here and I'm a bit confused making my first post for this purpose... I've been a lurker here for a while and now I decided to post. You amazed me by being so nice, friendly and helpfull
So maybe you could help me too... I would like to buy some mohair scraps for making mini bears  if someone have left, most of you send it already to Natty ^^' I'm in a similar situation, but I would like to pay for it, just shop prices are bit too high .... and if someone have spare pieces ... I'm a bit worried that you will think I'm just playing you up, if so I'm sorry
And if I'm posting it in a wrong place I'm sorry twice ^^' Just tell me if I'm making something wrong.
But if you would like to see my 'cheap' bears welcome to my flickr page, I'm uploading photos right now :)
