Hi Sandra
Great to hear from you. So pleased you like him. I'm in Ashford. Because I work full-time I don't get to many fairs, so don't really get to meet anyone. The only person I know in this neck of the woods is Barbara Ann Cunningham. In fact, I did a workshop with her nearly two years ago. She was wonderful, considering I didn't have a clue and was completely new to bearmaking!

Sue
Thanks, Becky.
My aim is to try to get a reasonable approximation to a real bear shape, but with a sweet teddy bear expression. I'm really happy with how he's turned out.

Thanks, Peter. It is difficult to find the time to make bears and work full time as a teacher, but it is likely I will retire from teaching before I give up making bears!
Hope you have recovered from Hugglets!
Best wishes
Sue
Thanks Becky. He is similar to Sasha, but I have changed the leg shape (his are straight), used longer alpaca and changed my technique for adding claws. Glad you like him.

My obsession with polar bear continues. Qannik is about 40cm tall. His pattern has taken me about 18 months to develop to this point. He has a double neck joint, an armature and can stand unaided. Hope you like him.
Please say hi to K'eyush, my latest polar cub. I haven't been around for a while. I had computer problems, then back to work...
Hope you like him.
Adorable ducks, amazing veggies. The peas/beans are incredible. How did you managed to get the colouring/shaping of the leather?!! Just Wonderful.
She is lovely. Her mohair is such a lovely colour...and the hat is wonderful!
So sweet! I love the silvery-grey fur!
Amazing work! Wonderful
Just adorable. I love the shading you have given her.
Absolutely sweetest, happy little face!
What a great bear!
What a sweet bear. She has such a gentle face. I love her kimono and cage.

Such a sweet little fellow. I love his tiny ears and lovely dungarees. The colour of them and the buttons go so well with his fur.
Another masterpiece! Beautiful expression, wonderful balance in the design, the proportions are perfect, the colour of the mohair and the scissor sculpting...just divine. Just love him!
Just so cute! I'm sure she will be packing her 'trunk' and heading for a new home very soon!
Thanks Melisa. I hope you are right about getting better with each bear. I just hope I don't run out of ideas and inspiration (or die of old age)before I become as good as I want to be!
Many thanks Kimi and Joanne!
