I just listed little Nscho-tschi on bearpile. She is completely handcrafted with German alpaca (Schulte) and has an open mouth with FIMO-teeth and ultra-suedine tongue. Her nose and lips are stitched, waxed and polished and so are her paw pads.
Nscho-Tschi's legs are both jointed and wired and she has a spine made from aluminium-wire running from head to tail so that she can pose and play like a real black bear cub - and she loves to play, exspecially now in spring when days are getting warmer.

This is Ari, a very nosy little meerkat. She stands 8,5cm/3.4 inches and is completely handcrafted from Sassy long pile. Ari has black German glass-eyes and is stuffed with fiberfill and some steelshot in her legs so that she can stand well and watch everything that is going on. She is 5 way jointed with additional wires in her arms and tail for multiple posing. Her nose is stitched, waxed and polished.

Little Syriana was inspired by the Syrian brown bears in our local zoo in Stuttgart. She measures 9,5cm/3.8 inches from nose to tail. She is completely handstitched from light brown Schulte-alpaca and has an open mouth with modelled teeth and an ultra-suedine tongue.
Her nose and lips are stitched, waxed and polished and so  are her paw pads.
Syriana's legs are both jointed and wired for multiple posing and she has a spine made from aluminium-wire running from head to tail for even more posing.

This is Bruno, a playful little brown bear looking for a new home.
He measures 10cm/ 4inches from nose to tail and is made of very dense and soft brown faux fur.
His nose, lips and paw pads are stitched, waxed and polished. He has an open mouth with modelled teeth and ultra-suedine tongue.
Bruno's legs are both jointed and wired for multiple posing and he has a wired spine running from head to tail for even more posing.

This is Khan, a little gobi bear. The gobi bear is the rarest bear in the world, there are only about 20 of them left in the gobi desert in Mongolia. I've been to that area myself. Unfortunately, these bears are not only very rare but also extremely shy. So, we only got to see their footprints in the sand ans the only actual bear I saw was a stuffed one in the Natural Historical Museum of Ulan Bator, the capital of Mongolia.
Recently, I've hears that a new gobi bear cub was born and I would like to celebrate that with Khan.
He measures 10cm/4inches from head to tail and is made from yellowish alpaca. He has black German glass eyes and is stuffed with fibrefil and steelshot.
Like all my realistic bears, his legs are both jointed and wired for multiple posability. Also, he has a wired spine running from head to tail for even more posability. Khan has an open mouth with modelled teeth and an ultra-suedine tongue. His nose, lips and paw pads are stitched, waxed and polished.

I've got a similar story:
Some years ago, when I was working on my first snow leopards, I had to dye some alpaca to get that typical "snow leopard blond", so, I went to the drugstore to get some blond hairdye. When one of the shop assistants saw me with that dye in my hands she said: "That won't work on your dark hair" and I answered: "That's not for me, that's for my snow leopard."  :crackup:  :crackup:

I just returned late last night and I must say it was really a great show and Brighton is a wonderful city, too.
For me, the show was great, too and my Baby Hope won 1st place in the International Artist Category and I'm very, very happy about this.
