Has anyone in the US had their bears tested by a lab to comply with the CPSC rules? I am looking at getting it done, it sounds expensive. If you have had testing, what company did you go through?
Thanks for any help in this area!

Does anyone have business liability insurance in the US? I would like to do a TEddy Bear Workshop (stuff-your-own) at a local mall, but they tell me I can't do it unless I have some liability insurance. I have talked with an on-line insurance company, the Small Business Development center and a local multi-company agency. No one can seem to help point me in the right direction.
Anyone out there have any ideas or the name of a company you use?
Thanks

Overnight the temps went up 30 degrees! (-3) when we went to bed, (+27) when we got up this morning! Gotta love the North Country and the bouncing temperatures!

How are my Canadian Friends to the north? Here in the Northern Adirondack Region of New York State we hit a low temp overnight of a (-18F) and I hear that Cornwall is a (-26C) Just a little cool.................unfortunately, I have to go out in about 30 minutes and will be in the cold, but I plan to keep the fire going all day to stay warm!

I use a glue stick to hold the cotton pieces in place on back of the fur piece, using the glue mostly on the edges, but also putting a line or two (like and X) across the whole piece and it works fine for me.

Soooo.....is there anyway that we can all get involved to stop this oil line???? A write-in campaign or something? Where does one go to find out who to write to, how to write, what works, etc.......
Hope to hear some other information to help the Spirit Bears!!!

I am soooo sorry to hear that Flinders is lost! I had Flinders for a while in Nov. 2006. We had a great time together....took him to the St. Lawrence Seaway, to a local park, my dog even got his picture taken with him. When he was done visiting me, he went off to visit some other people. Don't remember now where I sent him off to.
In March of 2006, I sent my own Moon Bears traveling. Franzi traveled to Australia, NZ, UK, China, UK and back home. She was home for a while, then went to the UK for an on-line auction and was adopted. The second one, Andy, left here in April and traveled the US. He got lost and hasn't been heard from since 2007. I hope and pray that someday he will show up at my door step, but ..................
Good luck finding Flinders. If anyone knows about Andy, tell him Mom misses him and hopes he will come back home soon.

I almost always carry a teddy bear with me.....First there is Earl, my Moon Bear Purse. He has traveled everywhere with me this past year since his birth....13,000 miles on the motorcycle plus the countless miles in the car, and then on my back for trips into the grocery store and restaurants. I am currently making some animal purses to have available for adoption on my website and at craft shows......
Then there is always a bear that sneaks into my luggage when I do go visiting places.....they cuddle with me when hubby doesn't go on the trip with me..............
