Teddy Talk: Creating, Collecting, Connecting

I have been out of the bear business for about five years.  I lived in Nebraska and made bears under the name C.W. Huggley Bears.  A lot of changes in my life since then, including a relocation to Georgia.  I felt that it was time to start doing what I love to do again... making bears.  I am overwhelmed with some of the changes that have taken place in the past few years.  Many new faces here and some old ones and so much talent.

Are there other places to sell bears other than Ebay? Is Ebay still main place to sell?  I want to design my own site this time. I know there are a few web design sites out there.  Are there some really good ones and others to stay away from?  Any other information that any of you could share that might  help me would be greatly appreciated. 

Anybody live in or around Athens, Georgia?

I have been out of town seeing my  son off to Iraq and have not read posts for a week.  just read about Winney abd I am  speechless and in shock.  My condolences, prayers and love go out to her family.  She will be so missed and will forever be in our hearts.   :pray:  :pray:  :pray:  :pray:

Hi Shantell,

Could you go into that camera store with all of your questions and just get information from them?  Be sure to tell them what your needs are.  Tell them that you are trying to figure out what camera best fits your needs so you are doing some research and are on a fact finding mission at this time.  At least that way you can possibly get some hands on information.  There are also many camera sites that compare models, quality, price, specification, options, and ease of use.  Once you know which one you want, you can buy it anywhere. I was also told that unless you are a professional photographer,  you will not need more than 6 mega pixels.

That is awesome Roxanne!   I have photoshop elements 3.  Have had it for a year.  Purchased a book or two to learn how to....do anything with it.  Then went on to other things that did not make my brain work so hard.  I really want to learn how to use it and am ready to give it another try.  I am not very patient and that is part of my problem.  The other is lack of time to allow myself to be patient.   Anyhow.....great job! :clap:  :dance:

I have been to one of those vets toooooo!!!!  Seems that a trip to the vet is more costly than when I go to the doctor.  Ugh!
