Pink
Thanks Pink,
the accessories making is one of the things I like most...I guess I'm still stuck to the time when I played with Barbies and made outfits for them! Teddys are better though, nicer curves!
Well, I always loved the book! What a nice idea! Are you going to make the tin man also? Or maybe you already have...
Thanks Joanne!
Thanks so much Becky and Wendy...
Please meet Oliver, he just got ready for a walk!
I created him from my own design.
He is about 12 1/2 inches (32 cm) tall and he can stand with a little support.
He is made from a 16mm tan straight mohair with dark brown tip.
He has glass eyes and he is five ways cotter pin jointed.
His nose and hands are needlefelted.
He wears a patchwork handsewn felt scarf and a matching little backpack.
If you are interested, he is on etsy now:

Hi Francesca..................suddenly found your shop yesterday evening on etsy.............now I find this message.............wish you good-luck and I'm sure you will sell the cuty! (and all others you will make).
   Pink
Thanks so much for the encouragement Pink !
It's very exciting but also tricky! I expecially found hard the pricing side of the thing , and found very useful the Teddy Talk section about it, it gave me a rough idea of how to do it, but still...
Now the problem is, since I listed my first item I keep looking what's going on, and I really should be finishing my teddy here, and be a good mother and 'Hausfrau' also!
Thanks for the links Lynn,
now I understand perfectly!
Count me in, I'd love to swap. Please, let us know what should we do to 'properly enroll'.
Hello everybody,
I'm taking the plunge and putting my Lily Piggly on Etsy.
Some data about her:
I created her from my own design.
She is about 10 inches (26 cm) tall when standing, but she always sits!
She is made of a nice 12 mm sparse natural mohair, glass eyes and merino wool.
She is five ways cotter pin jointed.
Her face, belly and feet are needlefelted.
She wears a handsewn felt bolero jacket and a feminine matching hair bow.
She has a curly tail...
She comes with a birth certificate with date of birth and my signature, made in materials matching her outfit.

Thanks for looking!
Sweeeeet!
Extra cute!
Hi Francy, its where you make a bear Christmas ornament and send it to someone. In return, you will get an ornament in return. Its a great way to get a special ornament :-)
Do you mean that you make a Christmas ornament with a bear theme, right? Not a teddy bear with a Christmas theme I guess...
If you do it count me in, it would be lovely!
How cute! I used to have one years ago, she was called Sophie!
I'm new, so could you please explain what is it about? It sounds interesting....
Wow, he's handsome!
Congratulations! I have done it too, happy to have contributed!
He's cool! Love the piercings!
He's fantastic!
He has a lovely pensive expression.
And the pumpkin hat is fun!
I agree with everybody else, you are hooked! But when first attempts are so succesful as yours, it's difficult to think you would stop at one bear!
He's lovely, I expecially admire the shading, it took me many bears to gather the courage to try it, and I still have a lot of learning to do on the subject. You must be proud!
Welcome to the 'addicted' clan!
Just one word: WOW!
He has the sweetest eyes! Ready for a nice hug when the ghost are the most scary!
This is what a friend of mine did for her wedding. She makes teddy bears, I used to make flower arrangements as a professional. So, I made special flower arrangements with a sort of little sponge platform in the middle, and for each platform she made a teddy bear little couple. This was for each table (say 8 people). At the end of the wedding, they made a sort of lottery, so in each table somebody got the flower arrangement with teddy bears as a present. (The flowers were artificial so they would keep forever). It was really cute! Unfortunately I don't have pictures.
I don't now if it could do, since you have a train theme already....but here it is!
