This weather is so freaky!!!!! We are still suffering heavy rains here in the UK. We had a really bad thunder storm yesterday and Christine I know what you mean, my dog held on for about 15 hours before he would go out for a wee! Obviously has a metal tank for a bladder

Hi Samantha, as we have been having bad rain showers nearly every day since last weeks flooding, I wondered how you and your garden are holding up? I've forgetten what the sun looks like the weird thing is that the temperature seems to drop some days and on other days its so humid!!!! Can't wait for this freakish weather to stop!
p.s. I haven't heard from Kim (bears by Kim) I hope she's OK.

You must have been so relieved when the rain finally stopped. It must have been so scary watching the water coming towards your house.
It really has been quite scary here in Yorkshire on top of the 24 hour non-stop rain, we had bad winds (not me personally ). I only ventured out to our village to take my smallest to nursery and we ended up having to walk down the road as all the pavements were flooded. The pictures on the news really bring it home how bad it has been and we are due for more rain from tomorrow night and for the rest of the week!!!
Hope you are OK Kim, I know your area of the UK was hit very badly yesterday and I was thinking of you when I was watching the news!
Hope this freaky weather calms down soon. :pray: and pray that there are no more casualties.

As a newbie bear maker (and a broke bear collector), I see myself as a bear watcher and I love 'watching' Ebay (yes I know its sad!) and the first thing I do is see if the face talks to me then I look at the name and I get really dissappointed if the two don't match.
I have changed the name of a bear I bought once because it didn't match, so it isn't the end of the world if not.
I appreciate the time and sleepless nights you've had and I'm sure your customers do too!

I recently finished an anime bear for my little girl in similar fabric and she carries it around with her all the time, can't stop cuddling it. Might make a bear for myself with the leftovers

P.S. As a newbie maker, I still view Ebay with the eyes of a collector (although I don't now have the money) and I look for something that speaks to me - not whom it is by and whether they have changed from creating dogs to cats etc - so this person does not know diddy!!!!!

Thank you Jenny for creating this post. My thoughts have been with Madeleine and her family since I first heard the news of her abduction. I have two girls and one is the same age as this little girl. I can only imagine what her parents are going through.

Oh they are so exotic looking!!!!! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to Lisa and Charlotte.
It was my 10th wedding anniversary last year. We do not usually celebrate this but, as my husband celebrated his 40th in the same year, he decided (very much out of character 
) to arrange a weekend in Prague. It was fantastic but felt very strange - it was the first time I had left my little ones (my 2 girls and 1 mummys boy dog), but had a great time and the girls missed me so much they behaved themselves on our return - well for about a week!!!
