I am with everyone else.
I am trying hard to get organised.
I have been spending far too long on the computer lately and my hubby keeps saying" I thought you were suppose to be making bears.!!!!
I am like you Brenda. when Dave is away which is next weekend I seem to get more bearmaking done.  I don't know the reason but I always do.

Oh I am laughing to myself.
Daphne maybe it is a common trait with bear artist that we like container shopping!!!
My family are always having me on about my container obsessiion!!!

As I make all my mini bears by hand I have been sewing my show stock since the start of the year!!!
I sometimes wish I could make them on the sewing machine!!
My first show is at the end of may and I only have 24bears made!!!
I also have a show 2 weeks after that.

Sorry marie for not catching up with you!!! I would of loved too!!!
However when travelling as a group of 30 it was quite hard to even do craft shopping. hopefully next time.

Hi all.
I have just been in Japan for 2 weeks with my son Joshua. It was a cultural trip for his Japanese class.
What a trip!!!!!!! We were very busy. I have come home totally exhausted!!!
I can hardly remember how to make a bear!!
I have 3 shows coming up so I hope I get over this jetlag!!10 3/4 hour flight.
They have fantanstic craft shops everything you need to make any craft however the bear supply was little and quite expensive. The shop was soooo overwelming

If you have the chance to go to Japan go!!! it is a lovely place and the people are so polite and friendly

Lovely Flowers Sue ann
However  we are in autumn at present and heading for winter.
We had a lovely summer in Lower Hutt New Zealand. Lots of fine days so I am hoping for a mild winter. All my boys (3) had there first games of soccer so I am hoping that there will not be many games cancelled this winter as last year. My daughter hasn't started her netball season yet. Our saturdays are going to a real rush for the next couple of months!!!

I have 4 children (16,14,7,5 yrs) Don't be so hard on yourself. Enjoy this time with your little one as they grow up so fast!!
However to get back into bearmaking once you have kids you have to be a organised!!! I am a list maker
I have several bears on the go at once!!!

As I make miniature bears, all my sewing is by hand. I carry a small plastic container,with small scissors cotton and bear pieces that need sewing.

Last week I was held up for 2 hours in a traffic jam so out came the sewing.

I was just having a look on the Golden Teddy Awards and saw your 2 little bears and wondered if you had been notified!
I knew you had been on the net last night NZ time and their were no comments from you.
What a lovely surprise for you
I was so excited to see my little fellow among so many talented artists.
I am still on cloud nine!!!!!
My very close friend Laraine White was also nominated
So we are soooo pleased to represent New Zealand!!!
