We still have no running water!!!
![]()
I am so desperate for a shower!!! And some clean clothes!!! We are going to visit some of my husband's relatives tomorrow so we are going to ask to borrow their washing machine and shower - which is a bit strange as we only see them about once a year - but we are desperate! :P
I'm sure they won't mind at all Samantha, I would offer my shower if i was closer We have escaped in Derbyshire this time although some flooding a few weeks back when Sheffield got it. Chin up  and I really hope they get the water back on soon or at the very least keep those tanks on the streets filled up for you.
 you just wait 'till they get to ya knees, they inject fatty deposits in 'em so they match ya upper arms....then ya need knee hammocks to support 'em
Hi Sue
Thanks for replying, the post office told me Airsure would take about a week so thanks for letting me know it may take longer, I think as long as the customer knows it will be fine
Could anyone please give me any tips on posting from the UK to Australia? which service is best to use and how to avoid customs charges etc?
Many thanks
oooh I wish I think there are very few who make a complete living from it but those who do, hats off to them, they do fantastic work
I started making bears because I love them but also because i needed to find something to do from home to stop me going insane. I can't hold down a job due to having Endometriosis and i was getting isolated from the outside world. Having run a support group and website I had been seaching for years to find something to do from home to connect me to the real world, and after looking at my own collection one day i thought..I wonder if I could make one of those? you should see what i created in those first few months
Anyway, I am now at the point where I am extremly lucky to have a hubbie who works very hard and has a well paid job so my bear making can add to the little extras we need, which is great for me, it makes me feel i am contributing too which is important to me It's not a huge amount per year but it helps
Absolutely fantastic  now I know what to do for the next party
Hi Lisa
Mine are always low, i think they suit my style of bear better that way and it's sort of become my trademark I guess, but I think you have to play around and find what look right on the particular bear you are working on.
The ears on your gingerbread witch look great to me  She has given me some ideas for christmas pressies for a group of witches i know well, they are not real witches just a bunch of craft peeps who fly around on broomsticks...so they say
Thanks so much for all the replies they really helped
I think I was looking at it all wrong looking at it as a loss when it really isn't, thanks again for making it clearer for me
Hi Krista
Thanks for replying I registered as a business a while back but am not really sure how to incorporate this into a tax return, I just took it as a loss last year, these forms confuse the hell out of me anyway
